Avatars?

Hey has anyone seen the Avatars? They look really awesome. I was wondering if anyone else knew of Avatars that they will be releasing when the level cap goes up. I hope the release Pheonix, Bahumat and Fenrir. I think this is the link to the Avatars.

In the game most of the gates in the town have a summon named after them, ex. West Ronfaure's gate's summon's name might be Ifrit... and one of the names of the gates is Fenrir. I'm not sure which gate it is but that a clue that Fenrir will most likely be in the game at some point.

Is there a Bahamut gate? Or Odin gate?

Yup I've seen an Odins gate but not a Bahamuts gate...

So if what you think is correct. Its possible they release Odin not Bahamut? That to mean doesn't seem logical because Odin uses Gilgamesh a one hit kill where as Bahamut is just really strong. Dont get me wrong I'm not trying to belittle your thoughts on the matter just I couldn't see a Avatar like Odin in an MMORPG.

This isn't FFX or another FF where the summons are uber strong... this is FFXI. That's where most people aren't getting it... since all the summons are strong in the other FF's they think they must be strong in here, but they're not. Odin may have an extremely powerful move in another FF... but not in FFXI... they won't just leave out a summon because its too powerful they'll just tone down the power. As of now I think Odin will be coming into the game and Bahamut will not... I would love to see them both in the game but it doesn't look like Bahamut will be coming. Who knows.. maybe they'll add a new area on in a patch and name it "Bahamut's Gate"...

square knows better not to make a smmon more powerful than another, because other wise people will be only using one summon and not the rest... and i know that's not happening

Alright so Tom what you are saying is that if I want to get on Kjata server and I end up on... Ifrit I can delete remake my character with the same name and possibly get Kjata server?

Actually no in-game they call them summons but on their site they call them "avatars"... oddly...
