OK, so this guy tells me that Helix spells have a elemental debuff effect. His claim is that if you use a helix spell and then nuke the match element, that spell will do more damage.
I see nothing to support this claim and I've tried it out in various situations on my Scholar, such as campaigns and missions (since you never DoT in manaburn anyway). I've done the matching Helix spell on the matching day with the matching nuke and the nukes seem exactly the same to me.
I tossed a few Thunder IVs at Ghesso and with or without Ionohelix, they didn't seem any different.
Has anyone else heard this rumor? I think its bunk since Helix isn't considered enfeebling, but elemental magic. Plus this guy has been wrong about plenty of other things anyway (like march not having a haste effect), so I didn't put much stock into this claim.
