okies at the mo im lvl 45 and im still using af weap, now im on fairy and the next 3 GK are tad price
i can get the Mikazuki at 100k (not too bad i guess) then the next one is 2mil, Koryukagemitsi, and there another 1 lvl later lvl for like 400k kiku-Ichimonji its not till Jindachi thats there on for under 100k >.<!!

now i know most will tell me to get Soboro Sukehiro Soboro Sukehiro but i havent done no Cop as this is my first job and only been lvl till now, and dont really want to stop (plan is to hit 60 then get all sub jobs to 37 and start doing mission and uest then)

but am i really gonna keep using AF till Jindachi, if i want to be able to save for hauby and not gimp my other gear

I think I used my AF WPN @ 42. You don't have to replace your GKT every single level that theres one available.

You can do the quest for your AF weapon at 40, but you can't equip it until 42. I used that until.. . wow, its been so long, I don't remember

Also, I hope you still have your lvl 1 GKT that you got when you unlocked Samurai. You'll need it for the AF wpn quest, and you cant start getting AF armor until you complete the weapon quest.

I was looking through weapons, and I think I actually switched from my Relic wpn to the MIkazuki (lvl 44 GKT) and because I was poor, I think I stuck with that until I hit lvl 55 and got my Dotanuki.

At 60 I used Gold Musketeer's Uchigatana (+att +acc, earth dmg, dmg is a bit low, but the delay is lowered as well)

I used that until 67 Kazaridachi. And I used Kazaridachi until my Hagan. Hope that helps.

I used the Magorku till the Datanuki. It's a really good GK.

I personally grabbed the Koryukagemitsu @ 52 (when I could afford it ._.) and loved it. With the ronin ring and the extra acc from this GK, hitting consistently wasn't really that huge of a problem; if you can somehow manage to gather enough for this GK, I highly recommend it as an upgrade from the AF. Plus, you can sell it @ 55 and have a nice amount of gil to play with since the Dotanuki should cost practically nothing ^^v
