    After searching through many of your threads I did not find a thread that sufficiently explained the purpose of SAM/RNG, so I felt I should try and explain it. Samurai are a DD, and most of the sub-options allow Samurai to do more damage with their weapon skills. /RNG is no exception. /RNG is slightly different than other Samurai sub-options in that you dont use GK weapon skills. A Sam/Rng will whack away with his Great Katana. He/she will then macro in ranged accuracy equip, head back, and unleash a powerful ranged weapon skill, such as sidewinder. Samurai's C- in Archery is the highest behind ranger, and our tp gaining abilities allow us to use Ranged weapon skills very very quickly. There is a draw back, because the main purpose is to use WS, you must constantly skill up archery. Anyway, I thought i'd give a bit more detail to a sub-combination that is rather interesting and fairly under-represented.

    The other main reason to sub rng comes at level 60... The ability to self chain with the use of barrage will make those "Even Match" Mobs actually an even match.

    Sidewinder, barrage, Jinpu can add up to about 2k in damage (not bad at all at 60)
