Hey there its me again (from the "New to game and have some questions" post) Ive had one hell of a fun trip in the world of vanadiel and have achieved the Samurai job =) Now im 25 atm and im a bit curious in regards to the effectiveness of two items. Lvl 25 Federation Tekko give the +3 RAcc and +3 Acc, and ive read that these are highly recommended. But ive seen the M Human custom glove at lvl 27 seem very nice (the str and dex bonus look nice) Now as fellow Samurais out there, which one would u recommend at 27? To stick with the Feds or go for the custom hume gloves?

I would rock the Fed gloves all the way. That +3 ACC will seem godly at that level. Much more than the STR and DEX bonus on your RSE (though those are great as well). I'm just a huge believer in Federation Tekkos at that level for MNK NIN and SAM lol. I swear by them.

Alright thanks for the answer! I hit 27 last night and tried on the customs and i noticed i started missing a whole lot more! So i will swear by the feds too ^^

One small little question concerning gear, For the last few nights while lvling ive never been asked to back up tank, this has led me to screw the def points and stick to the +str and +dex gear. So my question is, is it ok to still be using the power gi at lvl 27? Or is it really important to equip def body armor?

Past 30 no one will ask you to tank anymore... If they do, consider switching party.

It might be nice to bring a defence piece with you for when you grab hate with a weaponskill or something, but that's what third eye is for really.

Oh and yeh, I would use federation tekko. Switch to O.kotes at 34, or keep them them till about lvl 50. I still have them in my mog safe for those scarce moments I sub Rng.

I used both gloves at those lvl's (currently SAM61/THF,WAR30) used sushi with custom M gloves and used mithkabobs with fed tekko. Course I ended up using the custom M gloves most of the time just because I like to stack as much STR as I can . I'd say use both depending on the mob youre fighting, if you can hit well without much problems I'd say use the custom M for the STR+ or if the mob has high evasion use tekko ect.. you know the drill by now. Anyway I hope my ramblings have helped even slightly ^^''V.

Yes thank you very much for your answers, they have helped me alot! I havent eaten sushi at all since i just eat the mithkabobs. But like i mentioned before i hit much better with the feds, but Ziggy im gonna give it a try with using the customs while eating sushi!
