I have recently jumped over from my 59 monk (LB3 item blues) and started Samurai...I have been eating sushi like I used for monk for more accuracy and faster TP build. Samurai is only level 15. Is sushi acceptable to use for food at the later levels or is there a more appropriate food to use?

Actually, Sushi is more appropriate for later lvls where the Acc% can take its strongest effect with the higher natural accuracy and the accuracy gear available closer to 75. At lvl 15, Sushi really isn't as beneficial as one might assume.
For example, you may only have 30 base Acc at lvl 15 (guessing for simplicity's sake). 12% of that 30Acc is +4Acc (rounded). Now, a food like Jack-o'-Lantern would be much more beneficial for Acc at that lvl (Jack-o's give +10Acc), however they lack the +stats that Sushi gives. My opinion would be to eat Rice Dumplings until about lvl 25-30(ranging on how well you perform, seeing as how I've never tried this myself).

    Rice Dumpling
    Stacks: 12
    Duration: 30 mins
    HP +17
    Strength +3
    Vitality +2
    Agility +1
Attack +20% (Cap: 45@225 Base Attack)
Ranged Attack +30% (Cap: 45@150 Base Ranged Attack)
    HP Regeneration While Healing +2
    MP Regeneration While Healing +2
    Accuracy +5
    Resist Paralyze

The Attack% imo will be more noticable than the Acc% of Sushi, plus you have your bit of STR and a stable amount of Accuracy. Keep in mind however that this food will lose its effectiveness heavily (compared to Sushi) the higher your lvl is.

      Thanks D^I !
I will sneak those sushis back in my monk's backpack and start using the rice dumplings - it does make sense with the percentage factor vs the straight + ACC

Thanks Impact! Another person who speaks up against low level Sushi usage. Depending on how much Acc+ I have from my gear, I eat Jack-o'-Lanterns or Rice Dumplings. I wouldn't even recommend Sushi until Lv.45.

As SAM20, DRG27 I use the pumpkins. For RNG I try for Optical Soup, but I can never find any in stock. So I eat Dumplings. For my WAR I test my Acc Vs. my skillchain partner before I eat. If I'm keeping up with them from Gear, I eat Mithkabobs. If I'm having problems keeping up, I eat a pumpkin.

On my server, Sushi is 80k a stack, lasts 30min. A Jack-o'-Lanter is 7-10k, lasts 3hrs. So ya do the math, 3 hours of sushi will cost you 40k. At the lower levels pumpkins will save you gil, and offer better stats.
