    ok, ive been lvling samurai up a little, work constantly gets in the way though ; ;
    I've noticed more recently that samurai have very little going on. Nin have spells, monks have stuff, so i thought hey a good time to post.

    My newest idea is something similar to Jack's Fast Draw technique from Wild Arms.
    They dont have to be powerful but could do something.

    ???? - gives all pt members 20% TP increase
    ???? - temporarily increases your dex but lowers your agi
    ???? - something like Battojutsu (or however u spell it) where you 'resheath' your weapon and then draw it really fast and does an amount of damage based on certain attributes (not sure which would be best)
    Teleport-Slash - you go behind target and attack it with a critical hit.

    Well class time so ill check back later.

      I havn't read the entire thread, so forgive me if this stuff has been mentioned:

      You didn't say why Samurai would be entitled to these new abilities...

      As it stands I see Samurai as being a balanced damage dealer that is useful to a party in a unique way with skillchains.

      Unless SE intends to give interesting new abilities to every job I don't see the point.

        Any ja that would give Samurai's extra ~11%TP instantly would be broken for Sam. Meditate alone is amazing when it comes to TP gain, any additional DA ja that deals dmg AND gives you couple of TP would be too good.

        Well, I guess it depends on the cool down time, but it can't be less than a min.

          I dont think sam needs anything extra for their own TP gain. Giving sam a second meditate, jump, etc would just be overpowered imo. With full merits you already can lower meditate recast by 1/6, as well as getting 160-240%TP meditates if you use af2 gloves with af1 helm.

            i like the teleport-slash thing but i doute it
