lvl 30?

Hi, I'm currently at WAR30/MNK15, and I'm thinking of switching to SAM/WAR. Would it be too early for me to main SAM at WAR30?

Not really...I believe post-60 SAM tends to use THF sub. If you have a need for WAR sub post-60 you could always go back and level it. However, if you're a bit more patient and take WAR to 37 before making the jump, you'll never have to level WAR as a sub job for any job ever again.
