Solo ENM 60 any strats?

Currently, trying to find an effective way for this nasty ENM...

I tried using basic evasion gear and EH to avoid most damage- only for that to come back and slap me...

Blink band helps give me a boost, but not nuff, and potion chugging is a bit expensive and not a gaurentee that way either...

I got my macros so when I am going to chain on him, I quickly slap on hauby, spike earrings, ogygos, and other fun DD items to deal massive damage and quickly swap back to evasive gear so I don't get slammed suddenly by a weaponskill, but even then I usually fail around 50% HP.

I need a strategy that should help me get closer to finishing off this ENM... He's a bit persistant.

Any suggested skillchains or battle plans that seem to work?

I'm 0/5 now on this with my SAM. Annoying thing is my blm friend is like 6/7. I think he's just uber roughneck for DD unless you get lucky and the Moblin starts buffing you. I have yet for him to give me any significant advantage. On the other hand, I've seen him heal the Fantoccini when that bastard was at 10% to like 60%. That was my closest win so far. I usually run in with 2 Pamama Au Lait's and 2 Hi-Potions. I've tried different foods and I think Sushi is best so far because when I tried with Boiled Crab, Kabobs, and Yellow Curry, as we all know Yukikaze is notoriously inaccurate.

honestly this ENM is too easy for sam, im 6/6 without using any item, i just wear my hauby and all my str gear eat my meatkabob and do meikyo shisui jinpu > yuki > jinpu > yuki > yuki 2 hits more and he is dead, if you do this the gob will only have time to roll the dice once, one advice about third eye, use it and engage fantoccini when the timer is about 10 or 15 secs, this way you can use third eye before doing meikyo shisui right after the gob roll the dice use it in case fantoccini gains a meditate or something (i anticipated a jinpu doing that), btw i got my gamushara earring at my third try
i think the trick to win this ENM is to not give time the gob to buff the fantoccini and meykio is perferct for that, and i think that if you use an icarus wing with the 2h is a certain win

I guess another way of doing it that way is to meditate when you get in, Third eye up, wait the meditate timer and then do exactly what you said, with popping a meditate after 2H goes up.

Problem is though, is if one of those miss, you're in for a load of trouble.

thats exactly what i do and you dont need the icarus (i never used it) i only saying that the icarus will give you a certain win cause fantoccini cant stand a skillchain of 6 weaponskills

Well, I'll try that next time I relevel, since I need 60 for yuki anyhow.

Hopefully that tip will work =)

But, outside of massive pwnage by a 5-6x chain, what strats do you people use in case if you mess up chain?

I used to do it like this:

1) Don't forget level 60 cap gear (forgot it way too often ...) and a Blink band (I also used to bring one au Lait and one Hi-potion)
2) Make sure your 2H is ready (forgot that a few times, too ...)
3) Enter, Med, wait for recast, Med again (improved WS damage), wait till med is ready
4) While waiting for Med recast, eat your food (I went for Mithkabobs)
5) Once Meditate is back up, use the Blink band
6) Engage by shooting at the Mannequin, might get lucky and do additional damage (if your archery is capped)
7) Use Koki -> Meikyo -> Yukikaze -> Med -> Spam yukikaze
8) Hope for lucky dice rolls (or at least for no bad rolls like curing the Mannequin)

Some notes:
- Blink band overwrites 3rd Eye. Make sure you only use it when all your shadows are down. Also don't forget to use it when recast is up.
- This fight depends kinda on luck. Sometimes I've won with 5 HP after using all meds, sometimes I've won with 800HP to spare and without using any meds. Don't be discouraged if you lose.
- If you have a Soboro Sukehiro, this fight is a joke (unless he gets lucky on dice rolls).
