    Artifact +1 can i have it!!!

    what do you think??
    the + enmity hurts though.. nice alternative i think
    but maybe i`m wrong since i`m only 46 SAM atm

    I think the SAM AF+1 set rocks hardcore. It seems to suit a SAM/THF more than a SAM/WAR (+Enimty to boost hate for SATA+WS sticks mobs nicely), but the stats on it are quite nice. Much better than some of the other AF+1 sets for their respective jobs :D

      I'm saving for Boxer's mantle first but I'm deffinitely going to earn the boots next and test out that "Enhances Zanshin" on it. Helmet looks great too, but I won't get it unless it happens to up TP gain on meditate or somthing. Chest is amazing but I already have Shura togi and Osode so if i'm not lazy and switch out equips, it's not a better option. Pants are amazing but the + acc on shura still has me partial. But man that +10 parrying is so hot... And gloves. Gloves are great if you are using gigas bracelets. While they may not have as much STR as some the +7 DEX is a nice bonus.

          Special rare/ex items from the two new areas, plus your original af and take it to a npc in port jeuno.

            Of course, they introduce this shortly after I spent a few Mil on Shura Kabuto ....

              well..... the normal body hands feet af are kinda useless, but this +1 makes it more useful in many ways

                I dunno, every time I see them stick Enmity on armor pieces for rdm and sam it makes me think they're still trying to push their initial ideas of them being tanks. There's quite a bit of vit on there too, and aren't there rice balls that end up giving sam more def? Enhance rice ball effect looks pretty fishy~

                  fishy eh i hated tanking early dunes :_: this might be fun, other hand might be so horrible ppl will quit sam an i'll be the only one.^^

                    +enmity = more efficient voke body.

                    I just got my SAM to 30 last night (I meditate).

                    From my limited experience tanking mandies, I'd say sam tank isn't fun. It's not about taking damage -- Sam/war is fully prepared to take on that role. But I couldn't hold hate worth a damn (this is coming from someone who tanked as mnk pretty much exclusively 20-30). Maybe it'll change with Meditate to keep hate =P but I'm staticing with a friend's pld so I really only get to tank during his lengthy D/Cs.

                    I guess this wasn't on topic too much except that I think they designed this stuff for trick buddy stuff, not all-out tanking.

                      The body still seems to fall into the Soro only type of deal. I can see farming with it being a lot easier.

                      Those are...dang good pants. + STR = non-HQ version of Shura Haidate. The Parrying skill is a nice boost.

                      Still seems like a Meditate swap in still. The +STR is nice, again equal to non-HQ version of Shura.

                      Holy beejesus. +7 STR and +7 DEX. Even with the Enmity, these are damn nice gloves.

                      Depending on how Zanshin is enhanced (higher damage on a Zanshin attack, more chance to use Zanshin, etc.), these boots could either be wonderful or lackluster.

                        I can't help but notice that all the AF+1 is level 74. I've never heard of a HQ armor that is 20 levels higher then the normal version. Pretty stupid if you ask me, and I was looking forward to the thf af+1

                            Other HQ items require roughly the same amount of time and effort...just in different forms.

                            Acquiring a Shura Togi +1 for example.
