BTW, what happened with the BLM not casting escape? get interrupted or did you guys just get owned that badly, or just no BLM with escape?

As far as my depressing moments, well I had one last night. The WHM decided to be suicidal and cast Cure IV and right after do Divine Seal + Curaga -.-

I ended up using Barrage on the mob to get it off the WHM, and then switching to the best possible all defense gears a RNG could get with Defender on. When the tank got the hate back the WHM was dumb enough to try and repeat that again. I just said screw it and let him die, maybe he'll learn something then

nothing saves a rng from noob pts as much as blink does.

Not when the Mobs are MNK types or are just lucky to hit you really fast in succession or wipes your blink at the worst time. I've had my fun with getting owned as RNG/NIN with each of those occurences and opted that the Carapace Armor Set along with currently the Earth Staff and Defender to be better when I have to be a tank as much as I hate when it happens.

Most the time when I end up having to try and be a tank is when someone does something stupid like that, and with that the only jobs that can usually draw the hate till the tank gets it back is DRK and RNG (especially with curagas, THFs can to if they have SATA available). Sometimes it takes a while for the Tanks to get the hate back so the blinks have been less of a use for my situations.

Otherwise yeah generally a RNG/NIN will be good. Also other then that I love the power I can get out of my damages if I wanted.

Also I didn't say I was in trouble, I was still quite decent HP wise and all. It was mainly just our WHM being dumb and on a suicide mission or something.

I had this PLD the other day while exping SAM in Gustav... Man he sucked so much ass. I felt sorry for that RNG/WAR (moron if you ask me). On top of it he was an idiot. Dude died and deleveled to 57 (his Gallant Breaches came off) so I'm like "You should put your armor back on" dudes like "What?" didn't say anything else... So we continue this weak ass PT.. 30 mins then 1 hour pass and this dude is still not wearing pants. Kept laughing cause he died a lot "Oh man these things are hitting hard!"... Shoulda seen him try to tank Wyvernpoacher. Hilarious. The JP BLM and I were joking this dude in tells.

after reading all these funny stories, i figured ide have to share my most depressing one. Here goes...

Ok, so im level 29, in a pretty good group, with literaly 83 exp tnl. Im super excited to be level 30, and i already have someone lined up to help me get my SMN subjob. The person says they can only help me for a bit, i say ok. Anyways, we are (my group) in kazam and are pulling the last mob i need till i lvl. The pull comes, everything is going perfectly. Then out of a sudden, from no where, a level 54 thf runs by with a TON of goblins on him. We run to the zone as to avoid being the later target of all these goblins, but the thief uses flee around 7 seconds into us trying to run with him. He escapes and alllllll the goblins agro us right at the zone, of course, i die. Im reaaaaaaaly upset and just hit return to hp, not knowing that i set it to sandy for some god aweful reason O.o. Anyways, after im done getting back i figure since my pt broke up ide just try to solo a crapy mob right outside kazam. Of course this doesnt work and i die before i can zone. Now the person who wanted to help me with SMN says he wont be able to because he has to go. Then i logoff, my computer froze, got broken somehow. Took it into shop to get fixed, around 3 months later i get it back, and woopty doo they ended up re-instaling the entire windows XP. I now do not have my password and user name because it was saved on my comp on a file. My dad wont give me his credit card # since he thinks that they are going tocharge him twice or something. After about 7 months priar to the return of the computer, my dad decides he will call himself (hese so stubbern) and i get my acnt back. Ugggggggggggggggggggggggggggh

i got a pretty funny story to tell

i was in a lvl40 pt as rdm with another rdm. She was an female elvann rdm, something u dont see too often.

now one of us had to heal, and the other would debuff/buff/dispel. i ask the elf ckick if she wouldnt mind healing (i HATE healing) and she doesnt answer. i ask her another 4 times and she doesnt answer, so i say wth ill heal

so we're doing ok, we had some awesome DDs so the mobs were droppin like flies, and then i noticed something... wen the rng pulled a mob, she would sleep it over and over... as if to stun it over and over (which is a major waste of mp + is just stupid) so i say that spamming sleep isnt a good idea.

then the beetle uses its dfs boost... now im busy healing, so one of the DDs asks the elf rdm to dispel. She says "i dont have it"

now we're lvl 40, u would think she would have it by now. the pt started yelling at her for her pathetic playing and she got upset and left. "Well if ur going to b mean to me then im not going to help u" she said rofl

if u cant do ur job, dont play the game or ask for help and tips. dont pretend to know wat ur doing, it doesnt work

i also had a lvl57ish pt with a whm that wouldnt cure wen we werent fighting. the puller and tank would b at half hp and he would rest to full and not heal them, so i ended up doing it >_>

I hate when people do this. They are the ones that suck and then they try to turn it around on you and make you look like the bad guy for saying something. It's like when you're in a party that totally sucks in performance and configuration, but nobody will admit it because they're afraid people won't like them. If I say anything about wanting to leave cause the exp sucks, I'm some sort of evil person. I love when I get 2k exp per hour and half the party members are saying how great we're doing. :dead: Sometimes I just have to put up with it because, as a Samurai, I don't really get massive amounts of invites.
