My little project.

As im rejoining the game. I have thought up a little fun project to start up with.

As my character (most likely only one) will be a taru. But only using melee jobs.

My plan is MNK18 -> WAR/MNK30 -> SAM/WAR~~

I need to know what equip i should look for as taru and if that leveling plan is good. Ill probably make a journal of my whole levelage so you can see how im doing.

I'd lvl thf to 20 -> war/thf -> 30 sam/war-> 30 sam/thf -> 60 sam/rng or sam/war or sam/thf beyond that

both plans sound good but i like the thf plan a little better (it will also make making money easyer)

I like the mnk plan more. better for war and in the scheme of things, how bad's 18 levels of monk? you'll end up leveling other subs eventually anyway as you feel you need them.

THF sub is really what he'll need later on. MNk sub will only be good for WAR really. Anyway look for any STR stuff you can get. Your RSE has nice STR boosts on it, very nice.

You could always just level WAR/MNK to 37 (or 40 if you like those kind of numbers like me) and level THF/WAR (or /NIN) to 37 too. So then you won't have to worry too much about a subjob for your SAM.

At least that's what I plan on doing, when I'm not leveling PLD. Already got WAR up to 40 and THF up to 20.

level mnk to 18, war to 37, then you can level sam to 75 without worrying about anything else. level thf and rng to 37 in your spare time
