    A while ago I managed to obtain the Omokage, stats:

    DMG 66
    Delay 420
    DEX+4
    Store TP + 2

    And let me say, if Square wants to make a good weapon for Samurai, they need to do better than this. The DEX+4 and Store TP + 2 may look good, but don't be fooled, DEX+4 does NOT make up for the inherent bugginess of Store TP, nor the benefits of other weapons at the same level. I was getting TP at intervals of 12, 13, 14, 12... whereas with my delay 450 weapon I'd be getting 13, 14, 13, 14... (I haven't tried the G.M. Uchigatana yet, can someone tell me the TP gain on that?)

    Anyway, I put it up for sale and fortunately it sold quickly and I got back what I paid for it. I used the proceeds to buy a Daihannya (DMG 72 STR + 3 DELAY 450). As it stands, Omokage just LOOKS nice. Don't be fooled, it really sucks.

    What inherent bugginess?

    Most people don't notice or realize that there's a hidden decimal to TP. Each level of StoreTP boosts your gain by *less* than 1%. I'd place my bet at 0.9% per level. This can easily confuse people.

    I've never had Store TP simply not work correctly, though, If you've got your numbers right (the 12, 13, 14, 12) the only thing I can think of is that the +StoreTP on the weapon is working like a proc and/or is partially broken.

    Regardless, just looking at the omokage let's you know it sucks. 4dex and 2tp per swing doesn't outweigh 21 less delay and 4acc/atk (GMUchi) And the GMU gets 12.x per swing.
