SAM board is so slow...

Alright, so this is nothing of special interest, but the SAM boards are so slow lately I just wanted to make conversation. I was looking at arrows and saw that the Patriarch Protector's Arrow has RACC+40, which would be godly for a SAM/RNG. Only thing is, they cost 40K CPs from Windurst I believe A PIECE, so it's really a lofty goal to consider using them on any kind of regular basis, unless you want to waste a couple on an NM or HNM.

Then I had an epiphany, a revelation, and my day was right again. RNG gets an ability called Unlimited Shot which lets you execute one attack every three minutes without using ammo. Hurray! At least every three minutes I can unleash an accurate and devastating Sidewinder by switching the arrow on and off!

O yeah, it's a level 51 ability. So that blows Dhamel balls. I'll never get it even if S-E eventually raises the level cap to 100. O well, just thought I'd share one of my daily dissappointments.

The only hope I have is that you can somehow craft these arrows with insanely high skill, but I've never heard mention of that, so I'm not counting on it.

Well, even if this sparks zero conversation, at least it puts something new on the SAM boards.

BTW, anyone know how to craft Fang Arrows? ::goes to another forum...::

you can't craft them and rng's have used endless shot with it since it came out. but every once and a while they accidentally shoot it

Methinks our job lacks depth for the most part. We run out of stuff to talk about so quickly :\ I'm really hoping that they'll add a few new things to SAM in the expansion... (I know they won't >_< just let me dream...)

Actually i got discouraged from posting here after dealing with all the "good samurai". >.>

I'm not a big fan of a quiet sam forum.

Because then I have nothing to read.

I think for the most part, SAM's have to worry more about playing than say; a DRK. (SAM's will probably NEVER get Pt's as well as a DRK...) So while other Jobs can afford the time to play, SAM's are probably better off Playing than Talking. I can't play right now, So I've read just about every english SAM Forum on the net....--;

(P.S- The reason for the Pt-getting comment is that because DRK's can get PT's easier, Thusly they get more NET EXP, and can afford a few hours off not playing. But for an Equally devoted SAM, it takes alot more time to Lvl; I noticed.)

um... what are you talking about? drk's don't "get PT's easier" than any other melee ._.; an individual drk seeks longer on average than all but drg. as a whole, drk's may get parties faster, but that's because there are so freaking many of them..

aside from work and school limiting my internet time for posting/playing, the whole "omg this job suckz0rz b/c i don't do the most dps even tho my gear is omfgp1mpz0r" kinda turned me away from posting on here.

Yeah, well there are lots of jerks on the boards... superiority complexes abound O_o

Personally, I get bored while LFG/not even able to play, and the boreds (pun intended) give me something to do in the mean time. Productive conversation is appreciated -_-

If you like quite boards, you could not check them at all, and then it would be as if no one ever posted :D Simple solution for a simple problem.

But personally, I'd like to explore more avenues of the Samurai job, and silence is very unproductive.

P.S. Note that I said I can't play all the time, so don't tell me to go farm if I'm bored or something. This is the most productive thing I can do ATM ;_;
