Samurai useless after lvl 60+, final!?

ok ive read tons of threads about this, but sadly, i still dont get the point. Most people argue that with the AF helm yuor TP from meditate will be 140TP instead of 100TP, but that hardly will make samurai just THAT much more usefull at 60+. Somone thats level 60+ or has a good arguement please respond! im feeling oh so sad atm because of this, especialy what a bring down right after you get the coolest piece of AF in the game (in my opinion) the AF helm, then having to stop lvling because sam is useless now, and pt's dont want you

samurai is useless when a n00b plays samurai
for me sam is the best before and after Lv60.

like any job before or after 60, they suck because the player sucks. So if you suck, save everyone a lot of trouble and stop playing. If you don't suck you'll do fine. And btw the helmet give 120 tp most of the time, only about 20% of the time do you get 140, and usually not when you need it most XD

It's weird, davidmm was the first person who I've seen mention the 120%/140% thing. I noticed it right after I got it when my first ended at 120% and my second ended at 260% in town. Meanwhile, everywhere else I read said 140% period in response to questions...

If you want to play samurai you better be very likeable and memorable ^^. While Samurai is fine for good people, note that if you don't have a static, random people forming a random party want to take less chances in making the party configuration and a dark or dragoon with consistent damage output regardless of equipment sorta is safer than a 'bad' samurai who can't med up to renkeis on either the head end or the tail end or whatever. It's kind of like with ninjas, inviting a ninja for a random party is pretty much hoping he has enough money for his ninjutsu and evasive gear, and then you have to hope for a good thief or drk/thf that can put hate on him, whereas paladins are a lot safer choice.

I try to pimp out my search message but I still wait many hours between parties. However, that may not apply to you specifically as more people level up and there are just a lot more parties in general, and more variety between classes.

hehe just equip AF1 Helm and AF2 gloves you may get 180%+TP

for me the best piece of SAM AFs ever is AF2 HELM others are useless!

That store TP +3 on the AF2 body piece might actually be kinda useful. Would that basically return 3 extra TP per successful hit?

It says Store TP +3, so I'm reasoning that that is not referring to SAMs being tanks. I'm implying that it has to enhance the passive ability of Store TP. I actually didn't say anything about SAMs being a tank. o.o;

and what a Sam needs is a lot Accuarcy and Attacks. I using atm 2 Sniper`s Ring. I would die if I`m the Maintank. Tanking a mob for a short time is ok but not Maintank.

like what i said before you will need tank equipment or (GOOD) equipment and not all races could done SAM-TANK
