You won't get the same benefits; the point of doing this in Besieged is the access to high-level targets.

The higher the level the character you are buffing the chances you'll get skill points climb more quickly is better if they take.

Also a note on Campaign w/o tags. If you die w/o tags you'll loose exp so be careful. Have a quick retreat available if you can, like warp, since the mobs might target you if the npcs you're helping die. I had that happen before lol.

... I did that on my sam trying to skill up my Katana skill XD It doesnt take too long to get 2.5k back though in campaign. lol
