I level my RDM from 1 to 60 at the time RDM was still kinda useless ... I gotta say levelling up is quite hard.... No one would specificly look for RDM to get in PT. We were pretty much the last choice when there's no one else around

All the nice RDM's abilities and spells are in the game after I've reached 60... from 60-65 I can say it's really easy to get group and level up ^^ Refresh and convert become reason people would invite RDM.

From my observation...
- now, all people are playing new jobs. samurai ninja etc and mages are kind of rare ~.~ you shouldn't have any problem finding PT in this circumstance i think.
- if there's enough mage... RDM may have some hard time getting PT below level 40. 40 is when you get convert. and 41 refresh. that's the time RDM become useful.

And I like their AF that's something that drags me to them, along with their abilities.

I dun think that applies to all servers though
on ramuh my red mage has a pretty easy time finding PT's and im still 18rdm/9blm
but it may vary across the servers. but on ramuh 100% no problem.

hmm.. not sure what you mean level up EN
Each EN require level ... i think lowest level is 16 (en-stone) and highest is 24 (en-water).

my strengthen magic skill is capped if that's what you mean

Yes, thanks for answering that. What other magic types (weakening magic, white magic ect...) did you cap?

i capped only 2 magic skill right now. Weaken and strengthen.
And I capped 1 hand sword and dagger skill.

Just curious, why is Holy so low? Are the Holy spells not very useful?

the spell that use holy skill, is vanish (or banish) and holy itself.
which RDM can't use... :sweat: You need /whm for those spells.

Vanish is really useless most of the time except for skill train. long cast time and do very little damage.

If you play WHM as main however Holy is 1 great magic you will want to use. Training this skill just for Holy alone is worth it.
But you can't use Holy if you use support /WHM... the level isn't high enough.

I want to join fishing just to have fun but what other guilds should I join.
