level 43 ish armor

this is graet armor for redmages who do not want to be on front line. bUt damn it looks good also.
I will be wearing this for sure with probably a necklace for more Mp and tiara .

about armor

Red mages get so much versatility you do not have to wear exactly the same thing as a nother red mage ,
BUt i will look like an army of red mages once i get into AF.
Now for the armor types available to red mages.
Red mages can wear
the following.
CLOTH, cloth is not very strong and to be honest once something starts wackin on you, will feel it , but cloth armor can also give great status and protection boosts.
I will probably switch to cloth once i get higher levels.

LEATHER: leather armor is a step above cloth and is great for all types of classes and cheap to.
Redmages for the lower soloing levels NEED to wear this .

Studded leather: The studded leather is great armor also Slightly between chain and leather, and gives slightly better defense .

Scale male: Your first suit of scale mail will come in around level 11 and you can alternate scale at various levels and effencies.
I dont like scale ,, i thinks its horrid looking but cant deny the protection it offers.

PLATE: NOt for us

Chain mail : also not for us but imnot sure if we get some at higher levels or not.

Ive ben spending alot of time on eriwildes site and i must say it has one of the best trasnlations for an ffxi database.
It is comparable to elemens(which is comprehensive but not translated ) .
she has the majority of all your needs esapecially for levels 1 - 30

I suspect she will have guides up there as well once she gets more time. im going to PM her about this to see if this is the case.

WOW best thing ever!!!!

I knew all those japanese leasons would pay off for me.
after sufing thru google japan and winding up elemens site again i ran across a bonafide RED mage website.
This site is all in japanese.
the guy who runs the site has kept it update up to march but has begun doing some of the new job and wil get back to red mage when he/she can anyway enjoy this site even has a macro pallet
