I wouldn't send anyone on their first job (ie. no subjob) to pull and not expect goblins to make toast of him. I suppose you gotta learn to avoid aggro sometime, and death is a good teacher, but its hard enough to stay alive healing in the dunes without dying to links, aggro or just getting lost from pulling.
