    HOLY SHYT, can Soul Eater be dispelled!?!?!?!?

    Cause I know 2hrs can't, whereas we can dispel stuff like Berserk on NPC Mobs...

      Yeah, JA effects like Souleater can be dispelled, and their recast timer stays where it's at. The only one I'm not sure of is I think one of the PLD JA's was changed awhile back to give it a boost specifically against enfeebling magic. Even if that is true I'm not sure if it would be enough to resist a RDM with 300+ skill. I may be misunderstood as far as the PLD JA goes.

      Side note: A fully unresisted slow cranks an utsusemit timer up to about 45 seconds if I remember correctly, that's a fun one to lay on the /nins too.

        I think it can be dispelled, but you forget that if a WS went off with the JA effect up, dispelling will not prevent WS from receiving the benefits from the JA when it was up. In other words, you'll need to be quicker on the draw with dispel than the person using WS (Almost impossible to pull off unless player has a laggy connection)

        I don't think JAs can be dispelled. Here is the definition of dispel:

          Some JAs are technically considered magic and treated as such.

          Quick Draw
          Chi Blast
          Chakara
          Sentinel
          Soul Eater

          Something to know - and anyone who faces RDM, BRD or COR G5 should also consider this. Regen and Blink/Utsusemi are always on the top priority for dispel. Regen actually is the first target buff Dispel, Dark Shot or Finale will take out.

          Great way to block dispel and defend another buff? Selbina Milk. Cheap 1 HP a tick regen. RDM could just use plain ol' Regen magic, though. Since Paeon is considered a song, its further down on the list for dispel.

          Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

          Quick Detail about Quick Draw, btw, It ignores shadows. Found that out in Copycat KSNM sleeping my charmed allies. We CORs are not the best at PvP, but we can certainly get someone ganged up on >:D

              Pretty sure every buff save 2hrs, signet, and food can be dispelled by that spell.
