RDM AF Boots

I couldn't find the answer I was looking for but I might of just missed it >_>;

So if I start this quest on rdm, when I go to find the chest can I go on another job? It's not a coffer, it's a chest I need in crawler's nest for some item I take back to Curilla but I was wondering if I wasn't on rdm would I not get the item? I don't want to find a chest and not get the item because I took my war or something.

I think, since it's a key item, you can get it on any job.

Hmmm.. I hope so but I don't want to risk it, I want to complete the quest before JP midnight so I don't have to wait another 24 hours >_> I'll probably just end up going rdm D:

I already did the quest on rdm and got the boots
