Re: On RDM/PLD in parties at 74+

RDMs are a dime a dozen on my server. It's BRDs (or lack thereof) that's holding back party forming. You see, everyone, even in the low 60s, like to get 10k exp/hr.

I was in one party where we were pulling in 5k/hr (The players in my party were okay geared but not "twinked" or anything) and this DRG started to complain. When the PLD said he had to go and BLU asked if we wanted another PLD to replace DRG replied, "LOL no thanks, I can get a better party faster."

Oh yeah ... really ... dude was LFP for a while after and I think logged. -_- Hate how picky people have become ... I'm sorry, even if I am a RDM, to me, exp is exp (Old school thinking) and I've learned to work with both good and "bad" parties and not complain.

I think too many emo players are in this game now, throwing up hissy fits if baby didn't get her 10k/hr >.>

As long as I'm not too bored in XP parties, I'm fine. XP/hour isn't as important.

You can say "EXP is EXP," but when the DRG wants to bail on you, I think that's a pretty good sign there wasn't good EXP.

Yeah but what is good exp? As far as I'm concerned, if the party is enjoyable and the numbers don't drop below 3k-ish per hour, it's a good time. Hell, so long as it's enjoyable is my only real requirement.

5-6k per hour used to be the norm, and what you can expect, especially not in some form of "burn" party. I think it's less the fact that the exp/hour sucked, more of excessive expectations set by players, I'd suppose.

Exp is decent no matter what. Most of the time, I'm so depressed that it's hard to find a party as a lvl 40 PLD, I sit through and deal with the BS.

O'rly? Since when did DRGs get so "uber" that they think they can get ANY exp party at the drop of a hat and they can afford to just leave a party and know they will get an invite 1 min later?

LOL I think you should read above. 5-6k/hr is pretty good for a non-desirable job class, dno't you?
