      Sleep -> Nuke.
      I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

      HTTP Error 418 - I'm A Teapot - The resulting entity body MAY be short and stout.

        Does Sleep not get resisted the more you use it?

          yeah pull him, dont dot. sleep him, then zone. run in...dispel him till shell effect is gone, silence him and nuke-->sleep method. make sure to keep stoneskin and blink up at all times so u get used to doing that for maat as well.
          with stoneskin and blink up u can get two of your most powerful spells on him before u sleep him and rest rebuff whatever. he is easy to solo once you get the steps down.
          still gotta get my second testimony from him tonite. >.<

            No, it rarely gets resisted as long as you have your dark staff equipped.

            It's not gonna take 3 hours to solo it with nukes/sleep lol. DOTs are only for long fights. Sleep ftw.

              ive never had any problems with resists at all when using sleep II on him every single time. (and ive fought him at least 12 times already)
              every single sleep 2 landed on him.

                Yes, but I never had a problem with Ruby.

                Show up, claim Ruby with Silence and zone links if needed. Cast paralyze, slow, blind and what not, cast Aero III, Sleep. Then it's sleep -> nuke and reapply enfeebs, stoneskin, aquaveil and whatnot as needed.

                  Re: Red Mage Testimony

                  Way I did it was sleepga to wipe any potential blink shadows, then silence, then stone 1/something to wake him up, run to zone, sleep 2, zone, and come back. Usually it blew off any links while still keeping the main boss hog asleep and silenced near the zone.

                    I haven't fought Ruby. I fought Maat, but I skipped out on Ruby. Maybe I'll just go kick her ass now that I know I can solo well.

                      I'd recommend doing Hover Tanks in the Temple of Uggalepih. It's much faster especially if you have a MNK or WHM friend.

                        So true. My husband and I duoed these for some decent xp over the few days I needed to keep re-farming testimonies. You will also get some drops from the Tonberries, since they are close and they are very easy to aggro.
