Red Mage Hand2Hand?

I just found a pair of Impact Knuckles from when I was camping the O Kote, and realised I could equip them as RDM.

Looking at H2H on FFXIclopedia I see RDM has no native H2H skill.

So..

1) Is there any real benefit of having H2H leveled for RDM? I will raise it for other jobs, but specifically for RDM? Any situations?

2) If RDM has no native H2H skill, would I be able to use H2H WS's?

My H2H level is 0 at the moment XD

No. Without skill, you only hit once. You can't use WS without the appropriate skill level, either. However, if you're subbing something with H2H skill, it's different.

It's not the only job that gets weapons it has no skill in, by the way. PLD and BST also get H2H weapons with no skill, and PLD gets access to the high-DMG great bows, yet also lacks the archery skill to use them.
