Re: Avesta the great Red Mage
It's okay if you want to idolize Avesta. Go ahead and try to match his playing style. But just know, he isn't the greatest overall in every aspect of the Red Mage job class.
He's done things like fight stuff to an extreme degree. And he mainly combats one opponent. If he took on a whole squadron of Aern, or something stronger than a Lv75 job, then we may be more inclined to call him the best RDM. That is after all a kind of soloing.
You should just learn to enjoy the game. If learning to play like Avesta would make the game more enjoyable, then that's all there is to it. But if you're someone who is easily anguished by 3 hours of repetitive button smashing, you may very well be wasting your time and money. Enjoy the game. Don't go throwing your entire being into something you can easily get agitated by, or intimidated by. And I'm not saying you can't do it. You can do anything with a mere video game. But some things will require time and patience that you just may not be willing to supply.
