Use <stnpc> in place of <bt>, it will only target npc's but will wait for you to hit enter to confirm the action instead of just doing it like <bt> does. This makes it a little easier not to cast Dia on that mob you just slept.
<stpc> is used to target player characters. It also waits to confirm the action so you can use the function keys to specify who to Cure (or haste or refresh etc) after hitting the macro.

I've been playing a while and I've only ever used <t>, <bt> and <me>, having not had any problems with them thus far.
Clearing this up for me would be greatly appreciated. I'm one to always think of efficiency, so to think that I could play more efficiently than I do now makes me /panic.
