My red mage wont learn any spells

for some reason my red mage wont learn any spells when leveling up what is wrong? i have to keep buying spells to teach my rdm. what am i doing wrong. the only thing i can think is that he is a lv9 warrior and a level 7 rdm.

Ummm.. you're not doing anything wrong. You always have to buy your spells.

And like every other MMO you have to purchase you're spells. I never understood how in old FFs they just magically got smarter as they leveled up. I mean, in some way you should have to be taught how to cast that spell.

yep ^^, and be careful about rdm spells, ^^ they are in blm and whm catagory :D and also the (example, Bartonera is for whm) and Barstone is only for rdm ^^ thos get me sometime hehe :3

Well, that's not really a very fair statement. I just meant that WoW tends to hand a lot of things to it's players, but even they have to buy spells and abilities.

Yes, I've played it for quite some time in addition to FFXI. It's really not a cesspool. It's just different.
