    I wonder how strong those will be. Blind2, slow2, paralyze2… those could really help the tanks out.

      Guess it makes up for smn getting Phalanx with Noctoshield.

      I'm happy with the changes for rdm!

          Tier II enfs should've been added for lvl 50-60 though, but still better than not getting them at all

            I'll admit, this isn't bad at all:

            Dia III, Bio III, Paralyze II, Slow II, Blind II, Phalanx II

            I still would have liked Gravity II, and maybe a Job Ability, but I'm happy with that.

            I'm curious what the other things will do. Martyr sounds kinda nice. I wish the Update Page actually said what the abilities do.

            I wonder how long the cast time, and the MP consumption will be for the A.M. IIs BLMs are getting. And will the Ninja Tool Expertise trait stack with the Kogi hands that have Ninja Tool Expertise on them. NIN in my LS swears by those bad boys.

            So these will be 1 "MP" to unlock each one? Party last night wasn't quite so stellar, so I only have 5 "MP" instead of the 6 to 8 I was hoping to have.

              No one should even doubt for a moment the new spells we got. We're enfeeblers first, so anyone crying foul over this just have not been paying attention at all (Or don't even know how to play the RDM job class)

              Anyway, I'm really happy with this. First and foremost, the soloing part, needless to say, just got better. With ninjutsu enfeebling levels, these will be used a lot and maybe NINs will not bother to have to lug those tools around anymore in party.

              Secondly, Bio III will make a signifcant impact on kiting situations where you not only try to hold claim, but try to counter (As much as you can) the NM's regen abilities. I'm not sure just how much hp/tick you shave off, but I'm sure it's pretty significant.

              Gravity II will make things unbalanced, since we don't want every RDM here to be able to solo Charybdis >.> ...among other things...

                  Still not sure how to react to theses spells. All can be really good or really crappy. NINs already have tiers II enfeeblings.

                  I would have at least wanted one "thing" linked to MP consomption/conservation.

                  So, wait and see a bit more ...

                    If Phalanx II works anything like Warp II, we just became a godsend for endgame tanking and merit parties.

                    This update was great for all jobs, not just rdm. But these tier2s really do make me feel as if we diddn't get left out on this one.

                    I'll personally love Blind II, maybe we can actually notice the accuracy differnce in mobs now.

                      Why do you feel that Gravity II will be unbalanced? And I don't see how this changes the fact that we could already solo Charby. But for me, it's the /recast for Gravity. I don't much care if it's more powerful, I just want another option for when the it wears and I still have 20 seconds on the /recast.

                      That being said, I would rather have had Silence II than Phalanx II, but that's just me. Phalanx more than does the job for me, Silence II or a Sleepga spells natively would have better served us.

                      But again, I'm pretty pleased with the new spells. If I read the release page correctly, just need 1 "MP" to unlock each spell, so I'll have 5/6 tonight as soon as I log in.

                          I never thought of that, I hope SE didn't do this because if on top of the Refresh/ Haste/ Debuff/ cycles we'd have to add a /Phalanx cycle that'd be just insane.

                          Although giving a PLD tank Phalanx would be awesome.
