If you cap out parry/shield in the Mire, if you fight marids in woodlands/thickets, they'll sometimes (maybe always) spawn a chigoe when they do a special ability. They're higher levelled than the Mire ones. Conned DC @ 75. Somepage says 71-73, compared to 62-66 in Mire. Considering their attack speed, maybe 1 is enough from there.

You can hang around those 60s PT fighting Marids and then ask them if you can take their chigoes. Might make it beneficial to them (Removing adds) and beneficial to you (Get mobs to cap parrying)

Ah, and now that the Chig nerf is in place, they'd probably beg for that kind of service.

There's a nerf on chigoes? What nerf?

Also, I ended up with 171 shield from chigoes @ caedarva mire. For some reasons my parry skillups from the same chigoes are horrible now though, maybe it's because there aren't tons of shield skillups inbetween to distract me from those rare parry skillups
