Dynamis Earrings

I've been contemplating some of my gear for Dynamis.

Until recently, i had been doing Dynamis as RDM/DRK. The extra stun is helpful, since we're dreadfully low on BLM, RDM, ... THF... everybody, really. This means RDM (the 3-4 of us that make a regular apprearance) have to nuke the front line for most of the run.

I recently purchcesed a Wizard's Earring (latent: elemental magic skill +5). This right away make /blm a lot more usefull/potent. Just the other night, I got a Diabolos pt, and picked up his earring. Makes for a melee earring (98% of the time, barring dark weather...) and what would appear to be a nice Dynamis-Exclusive earring (since its always double dark weather).

How does Macc+2 stack against Skill+5? Ear2 has been locked with a moldy since i got it.

Does anyone have any thoughts/tests/results from a comparrison like this? I'm almost positive that +5 skill will completly overshaddow +2 Macc, when /blm, but does the +2 Macc get overshadowed by some other earring, when /drk?

(bear in mind, i dont have Sea, so Novia is totally out of the question.)

I feel the Diabolo's earring is excellent for dynamis.
1. The M.acc is great
2. Wizard earring is ok, but 2 things: first the latent effect, it only activated when your mp is in the yellow (??). If you plan to nuke statues, use Wizard, not Diabolo's.
3. If you plan to /drk and stun, Stun is a thunder skill, I would think a Thunder Staff + Diabolo's will be much better to make Stun stick.

Diabolos + Fencer's earring is what I use for dynamis. Why fencer's? The SMN 2 hour. Good luck and find some BLM for dynamis!

Wizard's Earring's latent ability only requires that your subjob be set to Black Mage. HP does not matter.

I like the MAcc on Diabolos' earring, though - very useful in Dynamis for landing Silence, Paralyze, Slow, and especially Sleep/Sleepga.

M.Acc and magic skill are the same as Acc, and skill in melee, +5 skill would mean +5 elemental magic attack and +5 elemental magic Acc. That is why that +5 skill does more for you.

However +M.Acc applies to all magic, where +elemental skill only applies if you are casting elemental magic. In other words, all elemental spells use Wizard's, all other magic use +M.Acc.
