Geez. Just watched it, what will this crazy taru do next? I half expect Kirin, though with the help of an add team for the summons.

I tried downloading. Went fast at first then crawled to 2.4 k/s. It finally completed truncated after 23 hours. Meh.

I had the same problem. I kept restarting the download until I found a server that could maintain a decent rate.

I was being sarcastic. Also, I heard a rumor that if the four winds from the other gods are thrown in a certain order, the Regen effect is dispelled. I don't recall where, and it's probably BS, but it's a thought.

It makes me so happy to see a RDM soloing charybdis.. And if anyone could've done it I knew it woulda been avesta @.@.

A while back a desperate RDM in my Linkshell was throwing around the idea of soloing it considering how hard it was to find people to help him. Several people in the LS proceeded to squash his hopes and dreams by saying repeatedly "It's impossible to solo charybdis."

Hah. RDM >> j00.

Actually, the mantas don't link; only aggro. I was going to attempt to solo Chary as SMN, but ended up finally getting people to help that I didn't have to. Could drag it all the way up top to the no-aggro areas without worry of links.

I remember listening to a lot of RDM complain about BLU. I kept thinking that RDM/BLU would be awesome. I think the only thing that keeps it from becoming the standard is that you can't get Auto Refresh subbed.

Well, any offensive BLU spells aren't going to land with half level Blue Magic skill. Presumably, buffs would also be half strength, so what's up with Cocoon here?

That was one of the better FFXI videos I've seen. You could actually see everything clearly, and understand what was going on (I don't know Japansese, but I recognize many of the spell animations), which is more than I can say for some fan made videos I've seen out there.

Also, kudos to Avesta for once again pushing the limits of what the job can do. I know that Red Mages get a lot of grief from folks who think that just because Avesta can solo [Insert NM Here] that all Red Mages can do it without even trying, but it's clear that he's really good at figuring out the limits of what he can do and working with that to make the most of the abilities he has at hand. Good job.

Cocoon gives def+50% of your base whether blu is main job or subbed.

Is there anywhere else to download this? I tried from Fileplanet, but it is a no go, and I will not visit Allakhazam since they are now owned by a RMT company.

Am i the only one that gets that if your connecting to multiple servers then this will not work message, i don't do this but i get it anyway and it never downloads thats why i hate filefont.....
