Found this thread on Alla. Avesta (RDM/BLU this time) soloed Charybdis, Joyeuse NM. At its spawn area.

I've seen some of his other stuff. How is he doing this one? Straight up fight or kiting it? I'm still downloading, even with broadband I'm getting a shoddy connection

Oh. On Alla RDM forums, the idea of kiting it to death was thrown around before. The issue was getting to an aggro free location.

He kites it around the spawn area. He just avoids the other Devil Manta that eventually pops. Mine finally just finished ...

how long did it take? What are the BLU spells he used?

It looks like the only blu spell he uses is Cocoon. When the manta pops he just switches to kiting Charybdis up and down the corridor leading to that room.

Ok, that wasn't exactly right. He literally just kites around it. Small room, but he has just enough distance to avoid linking it.

When I got mine another RDM there tried to solo it, I guess he was affraid of loosing it. I think he survived about 3 seconds or something, it was pretty painful to watch.

Geez. Just watched it, what will this crazy taru do next? I half expect Kirin, though with the help of an add team for the summons.
