Anybody think a new EN spell with mp drain could be usefull? ... as a suppliment to refresh.

Dear lord yes! But honestly, against mobs that have mp to drain, Refresh+Aspir+Energy Steal gives me so much mp I start free nuking to keep from wasting them.

I can think or a number of en-spells that I'd like to see on RDM that MIGHT be possible, along with why we won't see them:
Endark-might be likely.
Enlight-also as likely.
Ensilence, Enblind, Enparalyze, Enslow-great ideas, but may well be considered overpowered, also possibly nullifying the use of other enchanted weapons.
Enstun-Not a chance. Assuming it procs well(better than the Stun effect on Shock Spikes), DRKs usefulness would be greatly reduced.
Endrain, Enaspir-beautiful ideas, but potentially as overpowered as enfeebling enchantments.
Imagine any of these spells coming into play, and then envision a party of RDMs, each one nailing the mob with a different enfeebling/debuffing enchantment, all along casting the occational nuke. Not a single NM would stand a chance, which is why SE will never do it.
What I would like to see, that is slightly more likely, are RDM exclusive tier II enfeebles. Oh, and Refresh II. That one as well.

I think a 5-7mp per tick Refresh would be good enough as a new spell for RDMs. However, if BRDs are getting upgraded songs or additional songs, RDMs better get a similar suite of spells to even up the enfeebling act.
Maybe additional spikes? So an "aero" spike for silence, "water" spike for slow and an "earth" spike for rasp or just another stackable DoT status effect (Or defense down)
You know, I'm just tempted to ask them to add in X-Zone and Invisible to be cast on enemies. *Ahem*

in FF5 we can even add debuff effects into our weapons. silence sword can even silence boss we can not silence with normal spells.There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

Water Spikes would be Poison, Earth Spikes would be Slow/Rasp if we're following the current elements.
I've suggested a Refresh II, but make it a RDM ONRY spell. Give ups a higher MP recovered for those 4 and 5 MP user parties.
As much as I would like to see some new Sword Enhancing spells, I'm afraid it would encourage more RDMs to melee, and I can't imagine we'd want that!
Endark, Enlight, Endrain, Enspir would RAXZOR your SOXZORZ off, but that would make our sword far too powerful. I mean hell if we could hit decently for decent damage, combined with a Joyouse there'd be no need for Stoneskin for solo meleeing. Though I'd love it for Skill Ups!
I'm interested in a Divine Magic spell though. I have cap'd Enfeebling, Dark, Enhancing, and Elemental skill for Lv.71. My horrid Healing skill is Lv.160, and Divine Magic is only Lv.83. (I spent an evening just nuking mobs with Banish to level it. lol)Odude

Spike spell upgrades - Flame spikes actually do something other than damage, maybe Burn. Wind Spikes - Silence/Choke, Stone Spikes - Petrify/Rasp, Water Spikes - Drown, Light Spikes - Flash/Dia, Dark Spikes - Absorb Spells/Bio/Blind/Sleep
Enspell adjustmnets - More damage, added effects (see above), En-Status effect.
En-Drain/En-aspir would probably be along the range of Aspir Knife/Blood Sword maybe...
Able to cast Enspells on other (Paladin with En-Aspir or Nin with En-Drain)
En-Absorb spells.All spells obtained!

I vote for Refresh II (doesn't stack with refresh) but well just makes the cycle a little bit faster. Even if it's only a 2mp/tick refresh I'll take it.

I really like the idea of casting Sword enhancing spells on the tank and/or WAR. (Not like we don't have enough to do, but this would really help. That stuff stacks up!)
I've thought about Confuse, but could never really figure out how it would work out, so I kinda gave up on this idea. Any ideas how a Confuse spell/ability would work for and against us in EXP?
I've wanted a Barrier or Reflect for sometime! Carby has a Barrier like ability but nobody ever uses it. Reflect would kick all kinds of booty, but would probably be too powerful. (Imagine casting Dispel on somebody who was Reflected, and it gets reflected and cancels your Refresh or something!! ACK!)
And as silly as it sounds, I want Diaga II. It's our only native AoE spell, and as useless as it usually is, I would like a Diaga II just to say we have one. lolOdude

I imagine Confuse would work in the same fashion as previous FF titles. The afflicted(when amongst a group of targets) would randomly attack you, do nothing, damage itself, or damage one of it's allies(imagine using this in a BCNM)! Alone, the afflicted would randomly damage you, do nothing, or damage itself(but the spell being what it is, chances lean slightly toward the target hurting itself or allies).
I'd like to see us get Dia and Bio 3 back. As I understand it, we used to possess the spells, but lost them in some patch. It certainly seems indicative when Maat hits you with that DAMN Bio 3.
It wouldn't bother me at all to see our enfeebles be turned completely into sword enhancement spells. It'd give us a real reason to use blades in battle, an aspect of the RDM which I think is often played down.
