what mob did you burn on icemage?

Does anyone know what, if anything, you change to edit the color of the text when Refresh or Silence wears off?

im going into 3rd party program here but if you use ffassist, you can add in the ini so that it detects effects wearing off messages and plays a wave file of your choice.

I gave up on FFAssist. It's a very fickle program and seems to cause more harm than good (plus all those illegal plug-ins got me running scared) I just stick to Windower since all I ever cared about was being able to Alt-Tab and pull up ffxi-atlas.com, my all time favorite site.

We burned Elder Treants in Caedarva Mire. VT to level 75. Requires Bard puller with some damage mitigation gear, as the Elder Treants hit *extremely* hard - 120-200 damage even with Cheviot Cape and Earth Staff (-24.7% to -29.4% damage per hit), with crits going above 300 sometimes.

Camp is very dangerous if the bard is stupid. The camp resting spot is 100% aggro free, and -ga spells are safe too, but there are a few EP Treant Saplings wandering across the whole area which will link with the Treants, and there are two T Imps in the area that move fairly quickly and are true sight aggro (though easily defeated with magic).

Only room for 1 party here. Went back there last night with
BRD/WHM 75
BLM/WHM 75
BLM/RDM 75
BLM/RDM 73
BLM/RDM 75
RDM/BLM 64 (LS PT, lol)

Racked up about 12K XP in around 70 minutes (13K with Empress Ring).

You'll get to a point in end game leveling that you'll barely have time to properly enfeeble if your party knows what it's doing. I only use dispel, gravity, para and slow lately to exp and I'm lucky if I get a MB off. Sometimes it's so fast, you'll only get dispel, paralyze off before the mob is dead. Which personally I hate that kind of pt because I feel like a refresh and haste hoe >.> Which probably explains why I'm bored with rdm lately! (Oh noes I said it!)

I did observe on Aura statues that if my enfeebling isn't sticking (310 Enfeebling magic and paralyze gets resisted! /stab) I'll throw a Dia on it and then my MND enfeebles stick like glue. I never noticed the difference before until I started exping on those a year ago.

To change the colours of your stuff wearing off is very simple and you don;t need to use 3rd party program.... Go into Config. Window Config - Chat window (I think, I'll double check when I get home). You can change the text colour there for wear off effects. Mine's a pale pale blue so it stands out against the spam. You just have to find it. Usually the default is white I think, just look for the white text and change the color >.>
