sub job selection

hi folks.

i very new to the game and was after a little help...................


i am trying to select a sub job for my level 21 red mage. i've read alot about subing other mage job for extra spells and MP pool. also a fair bit about THF.

but i was wondering what about subing Monk ? or WAR ?

what benifits can i get from these ?

For an EXP situation, BLM is best RDM sub. For soloing (past level 24) it's most likely NIN.

unless you are farming or soloing, don't sub either. even if you are farming or soloing, don't sub it. they give you nothing of practical use.

BLM is a good choice, but I still say that WHM is the all-around best subjob for EXP.

Sub job for rdm fluctuates depending on the situation. Under lvl 50, blm and whm are subs for exp parties. Whm if your going to be doing a fair share of healing or are main healer and blm if you are not main healer but there is no blm in the pt.

i've made like 100 long posts about rdm subjob before @@; not gonna do it anymore.
