Only works when you don't have multiple gil seller groups and assh*le NA HNMLS crashing camps and causing drama.

I vary between sword and dagger on RDM depending on the level of the mob. TW->EP i'll just use Dagger and pentapoke it to death. DC->EM Sword all the way, most daggers just become TP feeders with RDM. T+ Screw melee, nuke it to death XD.

Dagger wise: Garuda works nicely for a long time. Hornetneddle at mid lvls is nice with Haste for fast attacking+Endamage; its also a great skill up PT dagger.

Swords: Joy-toy is a great one. If you're /nin, Disscetor is good once you unlock the latient effect. If you can get one, Justice Sword with Virtue stone in throwing slot is more or less a joy-toy without the piercing damage property. E. Sword is nice, but its something that has become more trouble than its worth to get on most servers. Unless your on a server like Bismarck where Drama is extremely rare and gil sellers lose to KA, it really isnt worth it.

The 2 strongest Weapons in each catagory that RDM can use are Excaliber and Mandau. Being attacking by a RDM with Excaliber, I can say first hand it hurts...a lot. I'll get back to you in a few months when the RDM in my LS finishes her dagger (Dynamis Dagger atm). Stat wise Excaliber has a nice Addtional effect(Damage proportial to HP, 250ish damage to me from a full HP elvaan RDM) and the extra effect from the WS can be usefull (stong Regen for a time) Mandaus additional effect can be risky when soloing (a strong Poison) but its extra effect from the WS is nice (+Crit hit%). It takes ~1-2 years to get these weapons and a lot will say the time/gil vs the reward isn't worth it.

Joyeuse is best, imo, in terms of Ease-of availability and obtaining power. 21-24 hour NM that drops 100% and if you have a dialect going with the ppl who camp it in oposition to you, you can get it after a few days of hard work. My LS had monopoly on Charby for 2 weeks and we got everyone who wanted Joyeuse one.

Savage Blade is by and large, better than Fast Blade, and I'd dare to say it's worth the long-ass and stupid-ass quest to get it. I'm working on Evisceration, but now with me being able to bust out SBs faster than ever, the Joyeuse is unparallelled.

One sword that I think is underrated is the Martial Analace, and I'd love to get my hands on that.

I think Discordian on Middie (RDM) has his L.5 one hand sword. Someone drag him in here quick to get some feedback and first hand account! Also, I always thought the WSs could only be used in Dynamis. This is the second time someone mentions WS outside of Dynamis, in Ballista no less!?!

            Off-Topic:
Actually it was Breener, but thats beside the point. Final Stage Relic weapons let you use the WS anywhere and everywhere. Kikoku was just finished on Bismarck, making that 4 on our server, 3 of which are NA and all in the same LS (Horn, Shield, Katana)

I'm not going to stress over bits of data like the relic weapons i can be effective as it is with easier to obtain items its like the nq and hq items why pay 50-100% more on an slightly increased item than sticking with the default if you have the money more power to you but if you don't well hell why?

Lol Joy toy= nq price is free Exc=hq price is 900m
