I dont see any thread`s, and I havent seen any attempts.
I personally havent done it succesfully, but this is due to certain pieces of equip I need to require to facilitate this.
Ok first off, as rdm/nin, dont even bother, he will downright kill you. he attacks very quick, his deadly shriek is a bad paralyze, and you will hit him for near to nothing and your enspell doing barely any dmg.
SO how will it be done?
There are two ways
One way that is quite possibly, is rdm/bst. My Mischarm in that zone is low. but to be honest, guivre eats a single pet easily, and it would require a extensize amount of time. Personally I trio guivre with my rdm/bst and 2 main bst friends. its simple @ 3, but solo it may be possible but, highly difficult.
2nd, way is RDM/NIN. poison 2+bio2. bind, your disadvantage is no gravity.
with 320 enfeebling magic I only have about a 50/50 rate, when i did try I did not have my full enfeeble set, and mnd/int gear. so that might have been my huge disadvantage.
Someone who maybe have 330+ enfeeble will do much better I thnik.
Ok how to proceed:
1st keep yourself hasted you want to keep your bind recast low.
2nd you must pull it with a bind, stick a silent oil on yourself asap. than run to the zone line, that is your battle zone, although i feel bad for passerby, but that is the safest place. at this point if you notice your bind are succesfull than you win half the fight.
3rd. para, slow, blind
4th. now you need to dot it, and bind it right away so make sure your bind is ready, bio 2 + poison 2 go.
5th. endurance, you will need a lot of it. Guivre has a fair amount of hp, you will be doing this for a long time. you can nuke it once in awhile.
He hits me around 200-250dmg. I noted some other 75 jobs getting hit for 400+ sometime still though.... Cheviot cape, jelly ring and switch to earth staff help's a fair amount.
You might want to have a friend at zone warning people you are doing guivre.
You cannot do this with bad gear. you just cant, your bind are so important.
Anyways I will reattempting this in about a week from now again.
Any tips are recommendation would be great.
