Re: What if RDMs were different?
I'd like to see the AoE enfeebles that some NMs have - Silencega, Paralyzga etc. They'd be useful in Dynamis and other places that you often have a lot of mobs at once. Same casting time and effect as the normal version and 2-3x the MP cost would keep them from being too powerful in one-monster situations. (And of course you have to be careful of unwanted aggro etc.)
Either that or Break :D
...Actually, I'd be fine with just getting Dia 3 and Bio 3, even if we had to share them with WHM and BLM. Paralyze etc. already get stronger depending on the strength of the monster they're applied to (i.e. each time the monster doesn't attack, more damage is prevented), so aside from being able to stick them more consistently on HNM, we don't really need much in that department (and I don't have everything that can increase Enfeebling Magic already - I think there's at least +40 from gear possible, not counting whatever Magic Accuracy does). Isn't the main difference between ichi and ni enfeebling ninjutsu the casting time?
On the other hand, if Absolute Virtue *and* its pets are completely immune to all enfeebles as rumor has it... why would anyone ever take more than 1-2 rdm to fight it (and those few doing nothing but spamming refresh)? Did SE think this through?
