ok ok, at the very least, people get mad at the WHM before the RDM, so replace "/fume!!!!!!" with "/cry . . . . . . ;_;"

So instead of anger-

They feel sorry for you:

The PT was EN and the WHM was a JP, thats what made the language barrier kinda difficult.

I see. Well, I hope we all learned something from this. This should have been established after a few minutes. Usually you can tell the direction of the party after 20 minutes max.

I was wondering that myself... why did the torment continue for more than an hour? >.> After an hour, you should be evaluating the progress of the PT. Because most individuals like to base EXP gain rate by the hour. <.<

I can't speak for anyone else, but I do not speak up often in pt's. I did with one of my previous characters and it only created grief for me. So I keep my mouth shut and do my job. In this case, at the most, I would have msg'd the pt leader and said "Wow this whm is driving me batty!" and seen how the conversation went from there. If nothing happened I would then say "I'm sorry but I only have 20 mins left." and left it at that. In this case, the OP was helping a friend get exp so that really wasn't an option unless he okay'd it with his friend first out of courtesy. But as I said, some people know the hassle "speaking up" can create and choose to avoid it. *raises hand*

if you have a good tank or healer you can speak up, its not like their going to ban you from all pt's

I have no problem speaking up =P For one thing, even when I'm in a party that has another Red Mage, I'm so awsome that there is an obvious difference in abilities. But then again, when there are two Red Mages in the party and I'm one of them, it's unlikely that the party could suck even if we were exping on Ladons at lvl 68 (never done it, but i'm so uber i'm sure we could rofl \(^@^)/ ) . . . (ohyeah, j/k btw. No way in hell i would exp on Ladons before 73)

With that said, it's rare that I speak up and the party seeks to contest my opinion. And if they do, I was a couple chains and tell them I have 30 minutes left. If they start being nice, tell them that you have a headache, but you'll stretch it for a few more minutes. Netiquette is one thing, but every human has a patience tolerance, and once it's reached, no reason to strain yourself making something bad work.

The game isnt marriage, if things dont go your way 100% of the time, unlike marriage where you make an honest effort to rectify the problem, its just a game. No commitment to someone you dont like. It's not supposed to be an experience in heartache and headaches trying to communicate with assholes and idiots.

Well I didnt care what Cor did in the PT, as he said in the begining, I don't get to XP often due to work and school. So Any XP is XP to me none-the-less. I dunno, the WHM was a douche, plain and simple, we all knew it, but Cor was the only one to actually say or do somthing.

Well a little background about what I meant. On my other character, I was rather outspoken about the way people would treat one another. Guess its just the mom/grandmom in me. It was usually things like someone acting rudely to someone that was making mistakes in the pt or someone that bragging and belittling others in the pt (and usually doing his job half assed). Things like this disrupt a pt and then it doesn't flow as smoothly as it should. So I would speak up politely but when you have someone thats being an a-hole they could give a rat's ass if your being nice about it or not. And then the a-hole would tell his ls and his friends what a b***h I was...blah blah blah. (Of course, leaving out what an a-hole he had been.) Word gets around and if someone hears more than once what a b***h you are, well there goes the rep. Needless to say its irritating in the very least since I was always kind to others and very helpful. So now I will comfort and encourage people privately that are being domineered by someone. Only on rare occasions (i.e. piss me off badly enough or just having a bad day) will I speak up to the a-hole. One lesson I've learned....Keepeth thy mouth shuteth! ;P

And in the case of a JP, its nearly blasphemy to say they play poorly or to call them out on the carpet. 90% of the NA population has their heads stuck up their arses.

Alucath - reading from your post, I wouldn't blame you one bit for what happenned. That Whm, no matter where he's from or what job he plays, is very selfish and there's no reason for you to take it upon yourself.

On another thought, maybe be you should let WHM have chance to heal the tank.

Since we were not in yoru PT, so we don't know the detail.

When it's PLD tank, some WHM usually let PLD cure himself to keep the hate, and just toss in Regen II and maybe Cure V when PLD's HP in orange/red. (although I personal think this is kind of dangerous, but some WHM don't think so).

So if you keep curing PLD when PLD in yellow and PLD still have MP, maybe whm was "waiting" to toss in his Cure but become no need because of your Cure.

I'll say if you encounter same problem next time, hold on Cure and see what WHM doing. And maybe leave Haste duty to him, too.

Now if the WHM did not cast Regen II or no Cure when PLD's HP in orange/red, then kick that WHM out of your PT.

This is what I do on my rdm. I do not heal the tank unless absolutely necessary. I feel at the very least the tank is the whm's 1st priority. But I've been in pts where the whm would whine that I wasn't helping heal. Of course, he/she didn't state that I was curing everyone BUT the tank. >.<

Well really, I am a rdm...I have infinite mp....can rip off spells in a blink of an eye....I am all seeing, all knowing, and all powerful!!! /end sarcasm
