I noticed that you were an Elvaan Red Mage in your profile, I wore my Race specific equipment all the way untill I started getting my full Artifact armor set and then switched the pieces out with the AF. But even after you get your AF a few of the RSE pieces are still superior to the AF. The main things I would worry about is having all of your spells, if you have your full RSE set on just find the best wand with +int/mnd out there and some +int/mnd rings that you can switch out on a macro based on the kind of spell you are casting, don't focus too much on one of +int/mnd you really need to have macros for both to change out the gear when you cast a different type of spell. At 51 you can get the elemental staffs, these are really good and you shouldnt have to worry about wands anymore because the staffs help the spells you cast(by element) stick better.

That is.. if you have the inventory for staffs or can afford them. I personally have a wand and a dark staff. I switch out other gear accordingly :O.

Good stuff to help you hit that perfect 1:1 ratio at level 42 without breaking the bank:

Elvaan RSE is all good for RDMs. Lots of +MP scattered across all the pieces, generally better than anything else you can wear (but remember to equip swap for specific uses).

Devotee's Mitts(+1): MP+8(9), INT-4(-3), MND+5(6). Crafted. Useful since Elvaan RSE has no +MND, so swap it in for Paralyze/Slow/Silence/Cures.

Frog Trousers: HP-5 MP+20 Water+7, R/EX drop from Fyuu the Seabellow(NM) in Sea Serpent Grotto. Get some high level help for this, SSG isn't a good place for low levels. This has more +MP than Magna Chausses(RSE).

Fencing Degen: MP+10 MND+1 INT+1, R/EX. RDM AF1 weapon. Swap it in before using Convert to gain 10 more MP (at all other times you should be using a wand).

Enhancing Earring: HP+5, MP+5, R. From BCNMs. Generally very inexpensive.

Electrum Hairpin: HP-10 MP+25. From chest in Castle Oztroja, or just buy it from AH.

Electrum Ring: HP>MP 20. From chest in Davoi, or just buy it from AH.

Mana Ring: MP+15, R. From BCNM Royal Jelly. Usually pretty inexpensive.

Within a few levels you will get access to:

Lv44
Powerful Rope. HP+20 MP+20. From Petals for Parelbriaux quest in Tavnazian Safehold.

Aurora Mantle(+1): MP+10(12), Ice Resist+7(8), Wind Resist+7(8). Crafted.

I have my full RSE, and wearing it. (Despite the camel toe look from the RSE pants. /sigh) I have the Devotees, but I don't recall seeing a +1 one version of them. It's time to look into getting a set of those!

I'm farming for Electrum Rings and hairpin now and I'm trying to get some Morion Earrings. (I went from Lv.39 to Lv.42 in the same party.) I'll have to grab some LS members and go out there for the Frog Trousers. (Those would help out big time and I can get rid of camel toe look.)

But I hadn't planned on doing my AF1 quest until I was Lv.51 and starting to do the important pieces. I was just going to go in and solo it, but do you think that MP+10 will really help?

Someone mentioned Mycophile cuffs:


While they are like completely awesome, they're not equippable by RDM. Otherwise, I'd help you get them, since I'm on your server. They're pretty easy to get as well, just need the pop items. Anyways, good luck on your continued RDM leveling :D You'll probably pass me, I level like molasses(sp -_-).

while it may be offtopic could you please post informations about how to get those cuffs cuz if been searching all the notorius sites and the only information i got was that the NM for it is found in carpenters landing...
