Favorite things to mess around doing?

What do you all do to have some fun?

Specifically, what do you do to keep yourself interested when you're not grinding for exp?

To start things off, I like to skill up on things much larger than me! (which is 70% of the game. . . ; ; ) and recently, I like pulling trains of low level monsters when I farm and pulling off Cyclone.

Cyclone is such a rewarding weaponskill ^^

Wow I too just capped Evasion at 186 yesterday in Kuftal Tunnel. I also skill up a lot (specifically in Kuftal), and earned Energy Steal, Energy Drain, and Vorpal Blade (omg such a cool weapon skill). I also like to do the Taru-Only ENM-60 for Tarutaru Specific Earrings and also BCNM-60 "Celery" with a THF and NIN.

RDM in my old ls liked to solo really hard stuff just cause he could. he says he looks up to this rdm on another server (i dunno his name) but apparently the guy has soloed like roc and sim and serket, so thats what keeps the RDM in my old going i guess, he's got an SH+1 now and he's trying to get some more cursed gear i hear, makes me want to level rdm!

I was gonna say BS to Roc, Simurg and Serket, BUT I have seen a RDM solo Ungar, so there is nothing i do not believe we can do.

I recently got Cyclone, so I'm gonna go ahead and make sure both Sword and Dagger are capped so i can switch around depending on the Mob. Sword capped at 202 at lvl 62 - - I like Crawlers, they are safe and easy to skill on. Also, perfect for BLM sub with Aspir and Drain, or even better with a DRK sub so we can still Vorpal ^^ I just remembered why I choose to raise DRK as opposed to WAR lol.

I was so mad at how weak our swords are, but i was comparing it to PLDs, so i cant get mad. And yes, farming is 5 times as fast when I can build TP with the Gold Sword, like a manic, while doing outrageous damage, and hit them with Vorpal Blade.

There arent enough tigers in Battilla or Labrynth Lizzies in CN ^^

Deffinitely Ballista for me. Doesn't matter what level cap really or whether it's Diorama or Official Match. Despite some matches being frustrating i usually have nothing but fun and relieve stress at them.

I also really like skill up PTs with friends for some reason. Real chill, just "skill'n'gill" for however long we wana go.

Any BCNMs we can do solo? I'd prefer something in the 60 area, so I dont have to stray far outta my level to knock it out, while at the same time, being able to use full AF

a JP RDM has soloed 2 differnt ENMs that are uncapped. There are no BC or ENM's other then those two that I know of a RDM being able to solo. uhhh well ok 3... I forgot about the capped ENM.. :p which is a solo fight anyhow.

Well, you Red Mages are able to solo the Lv.50 BC "3, 2, 1..." at Waughroon Shrine. You need some mad INT+ and MATK+ gear, as well as a Fire/Vulcan's Staff and you need Chainspell & Convert. Mass spam Fire III's and you should be able to take it down in less then 60 seconds.

Lately I like to try soloing harder and harder stuff.

I've been doing alot of farming in Lufaise Meadows. Gorgeous scenery, cool mobs, fairly good priced drops. Usually take my wife in her brd and we just cruise around. Gotta give it to Square Enix with CoP, most of the areas are beautiful.

I dont think we can solo 3...2...1.... We dont have Fire III, we have Fire II. From the HP Ive heard the bomb has, I'd doubt its doable even for a Taru with the best MP/INT/MATK gear possible. I may be wrong, but Im personally not going to Guinea pig it to find out...Oh wait, yeah I'll try it after the update. Also dont forget Level 50 Giddeus BCNM, Im 2/5 on guessing the right chest and 1/2 on getting an Astral Ring when I get the treasure.

Also just noticed a huge flaw in your theory, we dont have Fire/Vulcan staff at level 50 BCNM. Its a level 51 equip.

I think that roc/sim/serket is easy enough to do with a lot of patience, i've seen 3 people trio sim from a good ls on unicorn, a blm a brd and a pld (all tarus) sat there and sleep-nuked it. a lot of things are possible, i think it depends on good gear and lots of patience ^^ gooooo rdms kick some butt for me while i level blm x_X

Eh? RDMs can't solo 3.. 2.. 1.. It's level 50 cap. Fire II is your best offensive spell, and you can't use Fire/Vulcan Staff since elemental staves are level 51.
