I went from 186 to 208 on a single sky skill-up PT doing Dark Elementals. The only reason I didn't cap was because I ran out of arrows It also helped that the SMN was keeping our status up at all times

My +Range accuracy equipment (+35) were:

- 2 Coral Ring, LV70, Range Accuracy+9
- Coral Gorget, LV56, Ranged Accuracy+3
- Expunger, LV72, Ranged Accuracy+9
- Beetle Arrow, LV17, Ranged Accuracy+5
- Squid sushi (These helped a lot)

My RNG is 17 now. Soloing this has been slow but steady. My LS is asking me why I'm not leveling NIN or DRK. I'm not sure why, but once I read this thread, I wanted to raise my bow skill

My linkshell asked the same question Tomoh. While I enjoy leveling ninja nothing compares to the POWER that is ranger. And I admit that having a weaponskill that does a little damage sure is nice.

getting closer and closer to Sidewinder. Every LS event I have gone on lately all I do is sit in the back and spam /ra. Hit 155 last night, just 20 more to go.

I've started leveling Archery now too, went from 17 last night to 101 this morning. ^^
I'll probably head to Crawler's Nest now.

Hmm.. I'm sorta stuck at level 94.. killing beetles in altepa... and finding worms in Altepa is really hard. Any suggestions?

Head over to Xarcabard and kill the Ice Elemental or Dark Elemental over there, make sure you equip a dagger so you can constantly Enegery Drain them. You will be able to hit about to 150 here and then from there you can head to Kuftal Tunnel and do the crabs until 194, this is where I am right now. I do not think you will miss alot with RNG SJ

1) Sharpshot
2) Barrage
3) 2 Physical/Ranged Accuracy Bonus JT
4) Scorpion Rings
5) Reraise Gorget
6) Any +1 Bows that give Ranged Accuracy
7) Food, but this is not a must
8) I tried to fill the other spots with AGI gear

I found it easy to hit the elementals and it took like 30 mins a fight while I only used Wooden Arrows, but by then another ice elemental/dark elemental would be up.

Xyphere, get 2 Coral earrings (Lv70 +9 Range acc and costs less than 10K), eat Squid Sushi. Leveling RNG to use barrage is ideal, but I was too impatient. This thread helped me to reach max skill. I read over this thread. All the answers are inside.

Old thread sorry, but has anyone been using Archery on RDM after the " RNG nerf"?
Is it still worth it anymore?

I doubt it is unless you can avoid 1v1 and can just pick off people in groups.
