  • RDM/NIN vs. NIN/RDM

Alright...so my RDM is 800 to level 51, and my ninja is 2000 to level 29... But that's not the case. My question is, I deeply want to be both of these classes... and want to be totally uber when I hit 70-75, and be able to impress people with my skills....

Now I realize im posting in the RDM forum, so im going to get biast opinions... but would RDM/NIN out do a NIN/RDM in pure solo and fuxx around play.... or the other way around?

I wanna be useful to n00bs... help them out with stuff.... and on lower level HNM's.. maybe even solo a few (SB?... Amemit?...) So would NIN/RDM suit me better to my interests, or RDM/NIN at level 75ish?

What do you think you get from /RDM? Do you really want enfeebling and enhancing skill capped at LV37?

As for enfeebling, NINs have Blind, Paralyze, Poison and Slow with their ninjyutsu but they have neither Bind, Gravity, Silence nor any Sleep.

Then, as for enhancing, RDM/NIN has Haste, Protect IV and Shell IV while NIN/RDM only has Protect II and Shell II.

You should try both but I'm afraid if NIN/RDM cannot solo avatars without any medicine.

If you want to solo as NIN late game, you would be better off subbing WAR or THF, I think, for the greater defense or evasion of them respectively. With capped and boosted evasion and high parry, a NIN/THF is a sight to behold, though I would be hard pressed to say it's as impressive as a RDM/NIN when it comes to the final levels.

Ideally, if you can find a NIN/WAR or NIN/THF partner, the two of you can very well duo nearly anything in the game, with the exception of HNMs/incredibly high level mobs.
      There will be cake.

apple pie and patchinko said it.

nin/thf must be a treasure to see. seriously - all the evasion boosts that thf gets, plus nin's natural evasion = omg.

still, rdm/nin with enhancing + joyeuse for sheer "WOW" factor is pretty awesome.

The only thing I can think of with NIN/RDM is fast cast. Possibly okay for soloing, but you don't need it if you time your utsusemis correctly.
