Importance of AF?

Ive been thinking the same thing actually.. i can never get any help with anything. Luckily i already have a nest and GC key. I still havent been able to get any help for AF1 tho I dont think the sword is that great to really go nuts over. But I would like the rest of my AF gear. I never shouted in jeuno for help tho it may help. Hell I cant even get my stupid papyrus yet.

As a RDM yes I want my full AF, but as an Elvaan I probably will never wear the full AF in parties. It's been said before, the INT and MP needs of Elvaan make the RSE boots and gloves better. I'm in the same boat as Vortech, in that I need to rely on Jeuno for help with pretty much everything. That said I have the weapon and the boots, but I've never worn the boots. I can get my next piece since I'm 54, but since it's neither the body nor the head, I just dont feel the importance of getting it right now. By 60, sure, but at 54, not yet.

Well just as I was about to give up on my AF gloves, I got into a Eldieme coffer party with lots of high level help, we got 4 keys in two hours.

Then later tonight I found my coffer, and I can get my LS to do Dark Spark tomorrow, won't be hard.

I am glad this game doesn't totally hate me, since I do think these are better then Hume RSE gloves.

Altruist, RDM AF pants actually cover more on a mithra than RSE (which is what they'd probably be wearing pre-AF). Hot-pants vs. underwear...I'd go with the hotpants.

I didn't get my gloves until I was nearly 60, didn't bother me in the least. Savage Gauntlets > AF for pt play.

Every other piece I had on time or early. Really only Eldieme sucks for getting keys, the rest are more manageable.

Tights are pretty useful for the +Healing and +Enhancing skill. As a note: they are MORE revealing than the RSE panties, not less. They are open on the sides and shorter than your butt, so you kinda hang out the bottom :mad:

As a Mithra, I generally wear full AF for party play, except I swap the gloves for RSE. The boots aren't great, but there isn't a substantially better option until you can get River Gaiters, which are nigh to godly.

Really the only piece you *need* is the Tabard, but if you've gotten RDM that far, you might as well get the pimp suit as payoff for all the work you've done.
