Equipment at level 30 through ?

I'm RDM30/BLM15 and need to update all my equipment, but I'm not sure which would be best, i'll list the equipment that is good for me at the moment I already have...

Black Tunic (Body)
Eremite's Ring (Ring)
Saintly Ring (Ring)
Justice Badge (Neck)
Wolf's Mantle +1 (Back)

Other than that, I would like to buy all new equipment, and get Hume RSE pieces: Custom Slacks and Custom Boots.

Black Tunic i'd like to replace so i can get something for my head or Faerie Tunic.

Any advice? I don't mind the price, leveling can wait. Thanks

I dont consider myslef the authority on anything, but heres what I did at lvl 30-38 (where I am currently)

Cent. Body
Cent. Gloves
Hume RSE Legs

Black Cape
Merc. Cpt. Belt
Holy Phial

I currently have two ermites rings, which i will replace with two electrum rings at lvl 40 ( just had my question answered about that)

Being a Hume, I found that the rse pieces are the best investment Ive made so far, and seriously suggest getting them as soon as possible. I didnt get mine till 38, but they really help.

I waited a long time to get the holy phial, but now that I did im glad that I invested in it, also the Merc Capt Belt is a very nice piece that i believe can be worn till lvl 50.

Also, I think that using a hairpin is better than having a tunic on, and more MP in my opinion is better than just about anything. Also I like having more def for farming, so going with the Cent gear seems like the way to go.

Same here. Not much else to wear really. Although the Iron Scale Mail armor that's coming up soon for ya looks kinda nice on humes =D

full hume RSE is all I can recccomend from what I remember of the game.

Yeah, the Merc. Cpt. Belt you could wear to 50-52 at that point I think the Royal Knight's Belt you can wear? Forgot if that's one a RDM can wear :sweat: . There are probably others then that you can go with as well.

This is slightly off topic, but how about lvl 40 equipment? Is the Cuir set good enough to last till 45, then switch to Brigadine Armor?

Feet: Hume RSE
Back: Black and White Cape
Ears: Wizard's Earrings (/BLM), Morion Earring (MP+4, INT+1), Enhancing Earring (HP+5, MP+5).
Rings: Goshenite Ring (INT+2), Turquoise Ring (MND+2), Electrum Ring (HP-20, MP+20)

Some of them listed like some earrings are expensive. If you cannot afford them, you don't have to farm for them.

I'd take Mrc. Captains Belt.

Basically, we don't tank although we still melee around LV30-40. I'm afraid if it's not necessary for you to concentrate on defence+ gears. Then, I think we hardly notice an improvement from +3 to elemental defence.

Our primary job is spell-casting. Therefore, it is always good of us to have as much INT/MND as possible.
