lvl 45 rdm farming Q

At lvl 45 (without dieing) where and what is a good thing to farm?
i want/ need roughly 250k+, and am willing to spend 5-8 hours a day sitting down farming something.
any ideas?

lower delkfutt's tower is a good place to go. you can fight dolls easilly and they drop valuable doll shards.

don't go higher because you might not be able to fight those mobs.

also beadeaux near the entrance is good. you can fight garnet and old quadavs for gil.

so your recamanding just killing quadav's / giants for gill and a few item drops? i only have thf lvl 5, equip for gill finder?
which is more profitable?

Well then the first thing you should do is level THF to at least 15. It makes a big difference in how quickly farming goes.

I'd say: Batallia is your friend


You can easly fight 4-5 tigers or more without convert, then use it and go on.

With gilfinder, you will get 100 gil+ from every Gigas (Giant) you kill. This is pretty significant money, even if you just limited yourself to that, but it would be slow.

I concur with everyone here. Get your THF up to 15 (a MUST for farming). Lower Delkfutt's Tower is a great place for gil, but without Treasure Hunter, you'll be missing out (or at least waiting forever) on some decent selling items. Doll Shards, Magical Pot Shards, Giga's Socks, Nothern Furs, etc....Check the web as well. I believe there are some lottery pop NMs in Lower Delkfutt's that you may be able to handle. Some of there drops range from 2k-50k.

Batilla Down's is awesome for Tigers. There are a couple of sweet spots there where you get four or five tigers spawning rather quickly. Also, the Saplings in Batilla drop Fruit Seeds. They sell for about 7k-8k at the AH per stack. There again, you NEED Treasure Hunter for this to be an effective way to get drops. With TH, you'll be looking at nearly a stack and 1/2 if not more of tiger fang's in an hour. If the tigers in Batilla Downs seem to overwhelm you, try the ones in Jugnar. There's a couple of good spots there too.

Doll Shards are 2k each at AH on my server, magic pot shards are 1k each. Tiger fangs can be traded to repeatable quest giver in South San d'oria. The owner of the Saundries shop gives 2100 for 3 tiger fangs. Therefore, a stack can be traded for 8400 gil. Usually if you dont mind an extra wait, you can get a little more at the AH like 8900/stack. This is from people trying to buy their fame, but you lose fame in the process by not trading them in.

Alright guys, thank sfor the info. I'm gona go suck it up and lvl thf to 15, dealing with tarutaru health to 10, and then noobs in quifim till 15 : (. ty again.
I'm gona try the giants in lower first, maybe try to get a NM to spawn or so (it won't drop the item with my luck though), then try out battila

you might also want to try jugner. the saplings drop seeds which sell for 5k a stack on leviathan. not sure about prices on other servers, but they drop pretty commonly so 5k is a damn good price. there's also some walking trees around the area, so you can get some mistletoe from them and sell each piece for 3-4k each or get a stack for a large payoff.

As for Beadeaux, should one only target the Old and Garnet Quadovs or any Quadov that one can handle. Also what about the Quadov NM in the area, can a mid 40's RDM handle any of them?

Most of the NMs in Beadeaux are 45-50 I believe. I wouldn't try them until I was at least 50. You'd be suprised at how tough an EP can be.
