question to smarty pants rdms

heh, well i got an ice staff last night.

all you rdm/blm nukers out there - its good. noticeable good. we've been xp'ing off of torama's for a while, and before i was doing about 150-350 total damage (average from glancing at FFXIParser). that was with a whm and me on total refresh/enfeeble/nuke duties.

last night, we had a bard, throwing me on refresh/heal/enfeeble/nuke duties. looking at the log, i was now doing 400-600 damage per fight (every now and then i didn't do any, if the paly got hit with para or silence and the bard or blm was late on silenca or paralyna and he needed my utmost attention ). so it was very noticable.

i'll try and keep some better stats in the future, but it definitely was one of those "it FEELS stronger" things. i'm guessing pie has info to back it up, so i'll keep the math out of this .

so i'm 2 lvls away from the delightful spider torque. can't wait. 3 from elemental/enfeebling torque. hey apple pie, what lvl is the dune widow?

and now i want all the staves. sigh... time to do some bcnm's...

[edit] - slightly off topic, think rdm's will have anything to look forward to in the upcoming expansion?

they're 800k a pop on my server now....

speaking of which, do you guys know if the elemental rings have hidden stats similar to the staves? there has not been too much information about that and as a blm, i'm VERY interested in such info.
