  • Questions for RDM72+ Errant gears

With Errant eqippments being available to me, I have questions on what equipments you use for macros. In PTs, I use +INT/MB, +MND, and +MP equipment changing macros.

For Enfeeble, I use RDM AF armor over Errant since AF has Enfeeble skill +15. Am I correct to assume that Enfeeble skill +15> MND +10 for landing enfeeble spells?

Also, until recently, I thought that +INT was more important for Silence. However, somewhere on this forum, I read that it's actually +MND.

I'd like to know how other's are equipping themselves for different situations (Enfeeble, Enhancing, Elemental and MP). I would appreciate it if you can keep it to equipments that I can realistically afford and obtain. Something like AF2 will take me very long to complete and will require tremendous lot luck.

Well I am @4000 till 72. I will tell some of my macros. I carry +3INT ring +3MND ring and Astral rings. I switch rings for every debuff. Every single spell has a gearswap line in it like
/equip L.Ring (Mnd ring) and such. For Paralise, Slow, Silence I swap with mnd rings. For Gravity Blind Dispell I swap with INT rings. Not sure if this should affect the debuffs but usually sticks. I am 30+ MND and INT boosted with rings so that will probably do the trick.

As for Errant, I have full suit of Errant sitting in my bank. Most likely I will swap my legs and boots for errant. The Gloves I don't know since The new RSEV2.0 gloves seems better MP and INT wise. Body piece I bet I will use this on debuffs aswell and swap it when healing MP just like the Dark staff.

Oh yeah, I have Dark staff swap macro when it comes to sleeping a mob. I rarely miss sleeping Evil weapons in RoMauve by this combination. On the other hand the spell that gets most resists is paralise for some reason... The rest sticks just fine. Sorry that I am not 72 yet but this is what I am planning to do in 4k exp time.

BY NO WAY I will swap my AF hat. Stat wise and visual wise

I've also noticed that paralyze is the 'weakest' of all the debuffs. Has a noticeably higher resist rate regardless of mob, and also tends to wear off the quickest. As for Errant:

Hands + Boots: Errant at all times. RSE2 hands for mithra are +hp and +vit, useless for mage.

Pants: Errant while exp-ing, but they are ugly as hell in my opinion so I wear AF pants when not doing anything serious.

Body: Errant while resting + Nuking, AF Body when enfeebling (imo the + enfeebling skill is much more helpful than +mnd +int).

Hat: AF Hat at all times.

Rings: Astrals. I see no point in macro'ing +int/+mnd rings when I already have 100+ in each stat. Bought 2 of each ring to try, but didn't notice any difference so I just sold them again (then again, at lvl 75 with a few exceptions you are fighting the same stuff you fight at lvl 70, so resists really aren't much of an issue. Similar to how many melees replace snipers with +str or some other ring at lvl 75).
