I've also my AF1, stoneskin and blink (i'd love to have Phalanx too but not enough money)

    Thx in advice ^^

Farmings not worth it for RDM till 50 IMO, you cant really farm much at all at 41, I'd say Tigers but they'd probably kick your ass if they link.

Only place I can think of is Pashhow marshlands, it's not that great but you should be able to handle it. Kill Gobbue they drop Tree Cuttings worth 4-5k each, when I used to go I always got atleast 1 cutting per hour, but they also Drop Boyhada Moss that sells for 8k per stack, with Treause Hunter you should be able to get a stack of Boyhada Moss in 2 or so hours, and on top of that Tree Cuttings in 2 hours you should get atleast 3, which is 15k, alot of times they drop liek crazy though, 1 time I went in for an hour and came out with a stack of tree Cuttings (50k) and a Stack of Boyhada Moss (8k), it's all luck though... sometimes all I got was a Tree Cutting and a Bohyhada moss or 2 in 1 hour....

The problem with this place is that there are not that many Gobuues , and usually theres other people farming there and then you really cant find Gobuues cause they kill them all.

Farm Highland bees for chips, quads for backplates and that tiny bit of gil they carry, and if you wanted to test your luck, rams. Also bring some wind crystals and 2 sheepskin + ind crystal = sheep wool. Or wind. tea leaves + distilled water + sheepskin + dark crystal for sheep leather. I prefer the wool because I usually get a ton of skins when I used to farm there. I found the Highlands to be the best for me at that lv. ^^ *granted I was samurai*

I remember taking on Lumbering Lambert at 40... you might not want to try it yet.
I beat him but had 10HP and no MP left. I consider myself lucky, but I might well have been unlucky too - I don't remember the exact flow because it was so exciting

            Re: Rams

I have yet to fight one of the 2 ram NMs, la thine or kon, but at 42-44 I would sub rng and fill 20 slots with our thf subed, ram horns:1-2k and ram skinns:~500 or so.
I would recoment waiting till 45 to kill rams....with whm sub it took 3 Aero IIs to kill a ram

It is best to sub rng while farmin rams...wide scan and track helps ALOT.

No Ifs Ands or Buts about it.
            Rest of my sig

I like to camp Ashmaker Gotblut for gil. He spawns every hour, on the hour, if you keep killing all the orcs in the room. The Priest Robe is worth 50k on Odin.

I did a lot of farming back then in pashow also, its fairly decent. I used to kill the leeches for the beastman blood. The NM rams shouldn't be too hard at that level just be careful your not fighting the HNM version^^

The regular rams (tremor and battering) non-NM versions can be killed at lvl 25 no problem. I'm not sure about the NM versions Lambert and Rampaging. Of course Steelfleece and Bloodtear are HNM, so don't f*** with them

I know for sure the ones in Sauromugue do, as in the ones guarding the cave for RNG quest.

As for the ones in Batalia, I'm fairly certain they dont, as I've fought them right in front of their kin, with no link.

There's a big difference between 40 and 41 though. Refresh. If you'd had an extra 110 MP (assuming you cast a refresh just before starting and didn't rest back the 40 it cost you), it wouldn't have been quite so close since you can use that to heal for 400 or so HP. If the battle lasts long enough for you to recast Refresh, it's even more extra MP.

That is, of course, aside from the stats, max HP/MP, accuracy, evasion and skills that you gain from 40 to 41, which would already make some difference.

If you're going to use sleep/convert, remember that disengaging will cancel your claim (is SE ever going to fix this? rdm and bard both need to be able to mid-battle sleep to solo things that are reasonably close; disengaging by itself shouldn't cancel claims, and anything claimed by player X that is still under an enfeeble from player X should stay claimed at least until it wears off), but unlocking and turning your back on the monster will not (still prevents you from sitting, but you can at least convert and recast buffs before you turn back around).

From my experience, Rdms never have to rest when farming with refresh, phalanx, stoneskin, en-spell, and haste. This was the case when I was 45ish, and still the same at lvl 66 farming easy prey cockatrices. I just kill them nonstop, and steal mythril bstcoins from nearby gobs after each successive cockatrices; Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, and convert if you want to, but is typically not required. I only converted once because I threw 3 cure IVs on a lvl 75 warrior who was near death at the end of his third cockatrice; he was fine, but I didn't want him to rest that long.

not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but saplings in jugner drop seeds pretty frequently. they sell for 5k a stack on leviathan, and every once in awhile you get some mistletoe from walking trees in the area.
