Yeah, it looks awesome. I can't imagine how great it is in conjunction with Demon Arrow or Kabura Arrow.

I'm now raising RNG but to my surprise, even RNG12/WAR6 with Hunter's Longbow and Bone Arrow does higher damage on Wild Rabits in Western Ronfaure than RDM66/DRK33 with Royal Guard Fleuret does.

There are a lot of changes in Ballista with the latest patch and I think I'm going to be crazy about it. I really wanna try RDM/RNG there.

RDM/RNG might be interesting on some of the weak HNMs, like Serket and Lumberjack and Artho (Simurgh and Roc mabey but there evasion might be way to much).

First i want to thank Ruic for starting this thread and introducing me to RDM Archery. I have to say.. w/ my AF on.. RDM looks pretty damn hot shooting a bow.

I don't really comb through these forums often.. i just read the RDM thread mostly. Can you tell me where you see this "Mighty Bow?" I wanted to see all the stats.

You're welcome, and yes it is very cool looking, and very high damage. I've dropped some seriously damaging hits, and gotten SO many examines from people. Their first reaction is "WTF? A RDM with a BOW?" Then their second reaction is "WTF? A RDM with two swords?" XD

            My highest hit with an arrow on a rabbit - 313 damage. My best nuke (water II) at 41 + 22 INT, and capped out elemental skill, 191. This is just sad in my opinion. ;_;

In case you're wondering how I have +22 INT at 41, 2x solid wand (+5 each), Black Silk Neckerchief (+1), 2x Eremite Ring's+1 (+3 each), 2x Morion Earring (+1 each), Mercenary Captain's Belt (+1) and +2 from Hume RSE. (Edit: After that I decided to set up Allakhazam profiles, so if you're curious what else I use, click one of the modes below.)

It just amazes me how weak and expensive nuking seems when you have a bow.

OK, I did some experiments to verify if Accuracy Bonus increases Accuracy as well as Ranged Accuracy. Check out the image attached.

Yesterday, I (RNG32/NIN16) went to Garlaige Citadel to hunt Borer Beetles and Siege Bats. I knew it was too early for me to go there since beetles are LV41 - LV44 (max +12 difference, crazy...) and bats are LV40 - LV43 (max +11 difference). However I decided to go because our PT is well-organized.

                [PT Setup]
                NIN/WAR * 2
                RNG/NIN
                BLM/WHM
                BRD/WHM
                WHM/BLM

According to the statistics at LV33, I have the best accuracy of melee, 64.0% followed by Batistutia (Hume NIN/WAR) 62.1%, and Ereragu (Mithra NIN/WAR) 55.5%.

I have two Archer's Knife (can't afford to buy two Hawker's Knife). As we know, RNG's dagger skill is B while they have A skill for their Katana --- 5 point difference in skill between A and B at LV33.

In addition, while I listen to Minuet and Prelude, they listen to Madrigal and Minuet. Therefore, they have +15 or more accuracy than I have.

However, I was still better than they were. As a result, Accuracy Bonus of RNG at least gives me +21 or more accuracy.

Going back to RDM topic, RDM60+/RNG30 is able to have it, too. It's useful especially when we go out with skill-up to train our dagger and sword skill. By adding some regular accuracy+ gears such as Balance Buckler (+3), Battle Gloves (+3), Coral Gorget (+3), Life Belt (+10), Royal Guard Fleuret (+6), and some accessories, we can easily get 40+ accuracy bonus.

To be honest, I really have fun leveling RNG. I at first started to level it for Ballista, skill-up PT and other incidental reasons but I now feel like maxing it out once my RDM reaches LV75. Although I have to spend a lot of gils on arrows (27K for three hours leveling now) and stuffs, I'm sure it's worth doing.

Leveling RNG to the LV (- LV12) when we start to form a PT is very easy. Bring as much Pear au Lait (3HP/tick, 5 minutes) or Persikos au Lait (4HP/tick, 10 minutes) as possible. Since RNG has the greatest firepower, we can do non-stop leveling with these regen drinks.

I've seen many people using Bows in early stages but after LV15 when we start to have access to Acid Bolts, Crossbows are more useful. Acid Bolts basically lowers 12.5% def of the target and the effect is very noticable. All attackers can benefit from them. Then, to my surprise, they cancel any def+ abilities of creatures such as Scissor Guard of crabs. Imagine how fast we can kill them at Valkurm Dunes, Qufim Island, and Korroloka Tunnel where nobody in our PT has Dispel.

After we get 2nd Acc Bonus at LV30, we can gain our TP twice as fast as other attackers. I usually have two NIN/WAR for tanks but I always toss up Split Shot for them.

Oh well, I think l have to stop writing here... Otherwise, I keep writing for good. Anyway, I'm sure you'll like it.

I'm wondering if there is something like this in English.
I have this book and it is great. Unfortunately there is nothing like it in English that I have seen.

I also like this book, though by now it is very outdated: http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/...870141-7797805
